As a nutjob trying to learn to paint better for tattoos, your stuff has really helped me out a lot! Painting has and still is my greatest struggle, but bit by bit, I'm getting better thanks to videos out there like yours. Thanks!
Hi there! Ive been practicing shading with india ink and your videos have been super helpful. Im having a super hard time with getting a smooth gradient. Ill put my ink down then immediately go in with my water brush to smooth the lines out. What im struggling with is that the ink is drying almost immediately and im not able to smooth it out. Im being left with a harsh line that’s too dry to pull/smooth out. I hope that makes sense. Do you have any tips for me? Thank you in advance
Have been watching all your videos back to back. Inspired me to get back to painting in the mornings before heading back to the shop. Thank you for all the content. Will send a DM of an actual good painting once the rust falls off lol
I love these videos so much!! THANK YOU!! An option for spit shading is a watercolor brush with the water reservoir. One with ink and the other with plain water. I use a few with different washes ive made for larger detailed paintings and it works great! @maitritatu
Thanks for all the amazing Videos you threw up! Watched almost all of them, also following you on IG ☺️ Because of you I started painting traditional again, used my iPad over the last years, but now I’m back on Pen&Paper 🖤 Again: THANK YOU 🙏🏻
So glad I found your channel, these have been some of the most insightful videos I’ve found for tattoo flash! Definitely more confident in building my apprenticeship portfolio after watching these:)
I'm glad my videos can boost your confidence in full filling your dream. If theres anything else I can do for you, just let me know. You can find me on Instagram, @soberjoecollective, if you need anything. Thank you for your comment!
beautiful. this may be a dumb question, but do you have a dedicated brush set for color, or is it ok to use the same brushes for both black and color ink?
thank you for all of the content you put out! really helpful and motivating can you please do more step-by-step from the beginning so we can see the process of lining?
