A lot of people saying it’s expensive. Tattoos are expensive, £6 for the balm here in uk. I just paid £15 for all 3 products, why wouldn’t you spend that small amount? The balm goes a long way
I'm honestly just saving the balm until after it finishes healing, . I just use the soap 3 times a day and the lotion about 3-4 depending on how dry it looks. I don't know if it's worth the price for the amount they give. I typically used $1 fragrance free lotion for all my other tattoos and they healed with no issues other than being be a lot more scabby
Yeah your using it right, but it’s true they don’t give you to much to use for the price your paying but I use it either way thanks for telling me how your process is of using the product
The balm is for the first stage then lotion for the second stage, using the balm after it has healed is pointless, it's all about getting the top layer of skin healed with the balm then the lotion for the peeling stage.
@@Stu81 it says on the balm that if used to use only a little during the first stages of healing and recommended for when the tattoo fully heals. The balm can potentially clog pores and cause a skin infection. The lotion and soap should be used multiple times everyday since they are designed to clean the tattoo. As stated in the directions. Never use a balm as a lotion
@@conman1173 the lotion states that it relieves itchy skin, like you experience in the second stage of healing, the balm is for healing because it forms a protective barrier like how most first stage healing ointments perform, never have I heard anyone suggest to use a lotion before an ointment.
@@Stu81 the balm is used as a protective barrier, but balms are thick and like any open wound it needs to breathe. Also as someone who has 12 tattoos, I can tell you that the 5 artists I go to recommend just scentless lotion and no ointment, because balms and ointments trap moisture and can slow down the healing process hence why many tattoo balms will write on the back that it is not recommended for fresh tattoos
