Best example, it feels like the end of a paper clip beings scratched accrossed your body. after the tattoo it just feels like a really bad sunburn for about a week
I'm very bad with pain and I did a 7 hour sessions today. The first 5 hours weren't too bad and the last 2 hours were excruciating, but nothing unmanageable. FOCUS ON YOUR BREATHING
Mcmuffin That’s a great accomplishment McM, and will be a source of strength for you always. I have an idea of the places you visited during those hours!
I hate blood tests and have tooth fillings without anaesthetic to avoid needles ,tattoos are different there not as deep obviously , I personally could sit and have shading all day long outline feels to me like someone is slicing me with glass and I hate it which is opposite to what most people say it's different for everyone but well worth it for the outcome
I have one ribcage tattoo the pain wasnt that bad. The 2nd one has been awful. It's a hugh piece and the outline hurts like a mother. I have never used numbing stuff I will now
My last session was 6 hours and it sucked. Lol. Inner and outer elbow nearly finished me. Very nearly tapped out. After 4 or 5 hours got the shakes pretty bad but made it through.
I just got a 7 hour sessions today and the bone in my wrist and outer elbow made me want to die, but for the most part, it wasn't too bad. Coloring was a lot worse too
I want to get the saying “Through every dark night; there is a brighter day” on the inner part of my forearm starting right before my elbow crease going down to my wrist this will be my second tattoo and I’m 17 years old, how bad do you think the pain might be? My first tattoo says “love yourself” and that ones placed on my right shoulder blade area, do you think it’ll hurt more or less then my first tattoo did?
Just came across your video. Thanks for sharing. Working on my left full sleeve and have a full right sleeve in black and grey. I found that the outline wasn't too bad but the shading...eeish! People always ask me if it hurt which I say yes, however it's so worth it! Thanks again...cheers! :)
Lori Mitchell I know what you mean! If it helps, it won’t be as bad as you imagine, and it won’t take very long. Just tell your artist you are a little apprehensive about the spot, and they’ll help you through it. Good luck, Lori and hope it turns out great.
16 year old skinny boy, want something small (meaningful lol im not just immature) and i want my inner forearm done. anyone have experience with the inner forearm?
It's funny that I find mine go from extremely painful to tickling and that can be on the same pass, last tattoo was side of the calf and crossed my shin in 3 places and like 1 second I felt nothing but the next I was almost climbing out of the chair, they did the shading with a 9 needle set up, at least it was quick.
MrXLH2003 Yeah, agreed on the lower leg. My shin is virtually painless, but my calf has me looking for a way out! I like the multi needle setups too, as they are more diffused and get it done quicker.
i’m 17 getting my first tattoo this sunday (1/27/19), i’m getting a clock and rose on my forearm. Have any tips? what i can expect in pain? Inspiring video!
Ian Sterrick it feels like very hard pinches, that’s what a couple of friends told me who also had pretty detailed tattoos on the forearm. I’m also getting a tattoo (1/26/19) I’ll update u on how it feels from my experience on Saturday 👌🏼(I’m getting a pine tree, the length of my whole forearm)
Well Made Things UPDATE: I got the tattoo and i can gladly say i love it and i’ll be getting more down the road. It wasn’t too bad. The outline was nothing but shading sucked going back over everything. I would say the feeling is like a hard pinch with scratching
L R I began to realize that my skin is just borrowed- that forever isn’t very long. I’m free. When my Boys introduced me to Instagram, I could finally do the research necessary to feel comfortable with an artist. Thanks for the question. Hope you are well
yes and it is not going to really do anything. get yourself into peak physical condition and keep at it. overtime, you get better at it! i find i can now walk barefoot anywhere and i used to not be able to.
Couple of the most annoying questions someone with no tattoos asks. Was he heavy handed. Because they heard the term on the interwebs, and then do tattoos hurt lol
