My tattoos have absolute no real meaning, I just love the look of them. This was a really great way to get to know some of your history...good times and tough times. Beautiful way to remember your family members & keep them close with their handwriting.

They look great, even your older ones. I'm especially impressed by the coi fish on your wrist/forearm. That area is especially thin skinned and it seems to fade and blowout relatively quickly
this is so crazy but we have really similar tattoos, my first tattoo was 2 fish swimming up on my upper arm and i just got a chinese dragon right underneath, and I was considering getting some words along the inside of my other arm. your tattoos are so pretty!
I have a very important question "do tattoos always have to have a meaning...or can they just be done because you like the motif" everyone says you'll regret it, if you don't have a meaning with it. That unsettles me, because i want a very nice snake on my forearm with my birthflower on her. And i love love the motif. 💕
2014 was a very devastating year for me. My 15 year old only son committed suicide in January. I was not even home the day it happened as I was in Seattle preparing for a 4 month ship tour to Alaska. I was a merchant marine for 20 years. I must say though that i never saw any Coast Guard that looked as good as you. Lol.
I die when ppl get kanji tattoos. Sadly I have a tolkien tattoo that ppl think is kanji all the time and it erks the hell outta me lol love your floral tattoos
