The word of God is very clear. So many "Christian" artists are more concerned with looking and being cool, so careful not to upset anyone by manipulating God's word, that they lead others down the wrong path. Better to be honest with the truth and hated by the world than to twist words around to appease the world. 2 Timothy 4:3-4. Brandon, if getting the tats was prior to your commitment to the Lord, I could understand. It's part of your testimony. No, you got them after. Now let's give the best reasons to try to look hip and cool in this day and age. NO! Christ followers, DO NOT get tattoos. All you need is Christ. You don't need to try to 'fit in' or be admired by others. Walk the path and it will come naturally. or maybe you'll be hated. Either way, you're being true. Love you Brandon! I just want to say if you (people watching this) want a tattoo that you should pray and ask the Holy Spirit if He wants you to have one. He may be calling you to a place or purpose that tattoos would not be a good idea for. Just because Brandon gets tattoos which is fine for him, it doesn’t mean that we worship Brandon and say well cool Brandon than so can I. Just a thought. This is by no means bashing Brandon. I have been listening to your music even before you joined the Bethel family and never questioned your anointing...Now I heard the stories behind the tattoos you have...some of them represent things or people you love and you are thankful for, others represent nothing at all but you got them just because they are "cool", you even honoured people who sponsored you... but I don't understand how all that gives honour or shows love for The One Who gave you this body... I am confused... I don't mean to be judgemental, although I know that I will be called such by most of the people...forgive me, it's not my intention to judge you or others who do that... My mom was a tattoo artist and was doing piercings not only that had people wanting to work for her. She let it all go, she was practicing drawing since she was 12 and wanted to be a tattoo artist since. She let it all go after God told her “Destroy my temple I will destroy you.” Just thought i would say that. •_•

I have tattoos as well and absolutely love the opportunity I get to connect with people through discussion over my tattoos. It's so cool because many of mine do have meaning (stories of God's redemption in my life) and I get to share that!

Jesus is still working on him. At some point he’s going to realize that he doesn’t need a tattoo to express his love for God no more than he needs to carry a sign that says it. When those roots of love and worship of our Heavenly Father runs deep, it will shine like the sun itself. He would never have to look down at ink to remind himself of that.

Unfortunately I got sat down from playing in the worship team because I got a tattoo that was small and they weren’t having pastors are disappointed with me and what not but my faith and my belief and my views on God will always be the same and grow stronger but this hurt and I wanna worship and still be on the worship team but can’t no more 😢

I am blown away by the positive music praise worship holy ghost revival. its not religions but prayers to great music. kool tattoos and your look and art relates to young people. Really helps them relax around you. I myself love soy burgers in public schools, back when school food used to be delicious. We used to say pledge and pray in school back in the day. Taste is all in the spices. impossible burger way tastier. Sad people dying, that are enslaved working in dirty animal slaughter corporations. Abused sick animals cruelty and slavery greed woke me up, too. But, i still love ya. Try and opt for meat free options or some days abstaining to fast and pray. Im trying to help sweet innocent empathic animals.

Ok I'm not here to rain on this party y'all. Whether or not someone chooses to get tattoos on their body is between them and God... However, I can not ignore Leviticus 19:28 that says "You shall not make any cuts or markings on your flesh, I am the Lord." And 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that says "Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit." So why put writings or tattoos on God's temple? (Aka our bodies) Yeshua (Jesus) didn't need tattoos on his body to spread the kingdom... (no offense to those that have em) I've also heard that tattoos spiritually open the doors for the occult... Also, alot of the ink that's used here comes from Africa, where the ink gets prayed over by people into black magic... that's why tattoos can be addictive and some don't know how to stop getting them... So yea not one tattoo on my body, never will be either.

I just have to ask one question brother. Did you or do you ask the Lord what He thinks of your tattoos? Do you think you are representing yourself as a holy man of God, set apart from the world? Or would people look at you and think you’re just another guy? I have tattoos. I was raised in the church but I did go into a life of drugs. When I got sober I got a cross on my ring finger to “remind myself” that I was married to Jesus and that way I wouldn’t fall into unhealthy relationships. I realized I don’t need a sign on my skin. I have the Holy Ghost to remind me and God‘s word that I read every day. I have since repented to the Lord and asked Him for a way to remove them. Through many years of praying He has told me that those tats are an example of my life in sin/ in the world. Now people can see that I dress modestly and definitely don’t act like the next chick up the street. But a righteous woman dressed in simplicity and humility. Just something to think about Brother. We have to get copyright privileges/permission to change or use art or stories in the world. Why do we think we shouldn’t ask God for his permission to permanently change his masterpiece, which is us? Be bless in Gods truth! Love you brother and thank you for writing songs that are so intimate for the Lord. They definitely have a “set apart” element to them. ❤

I still wouldn’t get a tattoo

It is so sad when we claim to be the light of the world but when the children of the world come to us they still find darkness in us because we are still leaded by the desires of flesh... Other thing is, real God cannot provide for you then his spirit allow you to do something against God's law. You are proud of your tattoo because the spirit of God has find not expression in your heart to convict you. Even the devil can provide,,,, as long as he will always be there to deceive. The flesh has no glory before the Lord. Heart is the only place that God set for us to give glory unto him anytime we remember of his goodness,, not flesh. The bible says that, that's the way of PAGANS.

I only just came across this video and it breaks my heart because I honestly thought that you had all those tattoos before you got saved, but what hurt me the most was your excitement talking about it as if though its something cool and exciting. I saw Chandler Moore having recent tattoos and it honestly disturbed me and I tried to brush it off, but really and truly its so baffling to see how 'worship leaders' like you all claim to know God's word but really and truly don't , and its sad. Now it even makes me question Pastor Furton's ministry because you're a worship leader at his church. This even makes me uncomfortable listening to Maverick City, but I will definitely pray for you guys because God is using your ministry to reach the corners of the earth. He will use which ever vessel makes themselves available, and it don't mean you're going to heaven. You all need serious deliverance. Wawwww I'm still in awe

I love your music but I think there are better ways to preach the gospel without tattoos. Even before I came a Christian I had always thought tattoos were hideous. Last time I checked my bible says tattoos are a sin. And before anyone ask why I listen to his music or watch his videos it's cos I don't judge, Brandon is anointed, period!
