Tatum 1 Performance Test | Barbershop Colorway

When jay said “they should’ve stopped at the 29’s and just drop some more colors I would still be buying them”. I 100 percent felt that 🤣‼️

bro im not gonna lie, he's the only performance test guy I respect in the entire world.

Since my 7th grade basketball year, I been watching KG…. Im a junior in college now and maaaannnn, I appreciate jay keeping up the shoe reviews, brings me back to when I was a young hooper getting excited when I was about to buy my next hooping shoe

These deserve more respect for off the court. This is a great looking shoe

Finally got a chance to play in them today and I have to give it two things up. This shoe is more designed for a slasher/guard type. The grip was pretty good. If you play on your forefoot I’d say these are excellent. Prolly the lightest shoe I’ve played in. Only downside to me is the lack on cushion in the back. Being 6’0 230 and at age 44 I need more impact protection. But if I was a younger lad I’d dig the court feel and lightness. Love the look and it’s a nice design from Jordan that really pushes the envelope of taking away a lot of weight while still offering a great performance option. I’d buy another pair because I love the style and Tatum is one of my fave players.

I was pleasantly surprised, I copped the ST Louis cw yesterday via Hibbett raffle. First try on at home was meh but got them on court and they checked all my boxes. The traction held up the chassis held me down and at 245 lbs the cushion absorbed all impacts nicely. Impressed

Bro i'm gonna be honest, I know they're not the best performer, but they're so fucking nice looking

These shoes look good asl but I feel like they focused more on the looks than the actual specs. Jordan performance models used to LOOK and FEEL like supercars on your feet. Now they're more like Honda Civics with body kits.

This shoes are beast on court. I played in them and I put the move game day pro insoles in them. Crazy comfortable and awesome traction

Tried em on the other day at my local Dicks Sports.. felt extremely flat footed and wide compared to my J37s.. didnt really feel the zoom unit either. I def love the looks of these and can dig the tech and why, just wasnt right for me. Great Review! ..Jordan 37s FYI.. I agree with everything you said about em.. I fixed em! They def felt unbalanced. My forefoot always felt too propd up with the double stack unit vs my heel.. this would cause me heel pain and ruin the court feel I was lookn for. I fixd it though, I took out the insole and put in an aggressive arch "Superfeet" half insole.. My heel is now higher w my forefoot sitting directly on the zoom units lol... They now feel like an extension of my foot and the best Ive ever had. Idk, I think this logic could help w other shoes too.

Man, how's Nike and Jordan brand gonna try and copy Under Armour and Curry brand and still come up short? After what happened on the 37 mid... They put the same upper set on Tatum's shoe🤔 interesting. They should have just put rubber on the whole outsole. Jimmy Butler's new shoes tried this too.
