The surgery is coming on 13th August. Juxtaposed with investing in filming equipment the week before I found the lump. This resonates SO much. In June 2023, my wife (a taurus) and I had our house burn down. No fault of our own, but we lost everything and had 2, 3 yr old kittens die. For the past year, we've been trying to recover. We got a few things out of the house before it was bulldozed to the ground. We've been in a rental house for the past year, desperately trying to find a new home. Our landlord, basically, tossed us out of the rental as of July 31st 2024. On July 30th, we found a new home. We're still waiting on final settlement and it is due to happen on August 30th. Everything you're saying for the end of August is SO spot on!!! We'll be moving into our final home. We are SO STRONGLY hoping that all goes well but we know that there is a lot of work moving forward to make this OUR home. We are in our 60's and doing all this work on a home again....is very daunting. Prior to the fire, for the past 27 years we've been upgrading and improving our home so when we got to this age, all of this was done and ready for us to retire. We finished the last remodeling 4 weeks before the fire. We were set and ready to grow old together. Then the fire. My wife bought that house in 1976. She has had THE WORST time trying to deal with this change and where we are going from here. I can't wait to get her into the new house and get her settled in and stable again. Impending knee replacement, both within 8 weeks of each other~ I've literally dragged my feet for 5/6 yrs... king of swords... my surgeon ~ I've always avoided drs./ hospitals... but it's time and I most def. want to move forward/heal and gain mobility... better health. 8 of pents I see sitting in recovery relearning to move.
