Installing Lakeline's ultimate topside upgrade for the Taurus GX4 XL. Laugh as you watch me struggle with springs. Listen in wonder as I mumble my way through this exciting upgrade. Full of thrills and spills. Possibly in 3D.
Just ordered a GX4 XL. May put this kit in it. Kind of wonder how much that pencil would have jumped from the old springs, though. Appreciate you going to the trouble of showing us how. If you don't mind, keep us updated on how we'll the changes work.?. Thanks.
I missed to see what changed from the mechanic perspective… pull trigger weight before and after… spring force difference. What is the real benefit of changing it. Once you take it to the range does the gun shoot better?
Lake Line LLC recoil Spring's are second to non trust me i put them in everything. & the strike's guide and springs also makes the pull smooth tho from Factory it's dang near perfect for me. I have the Striker also i dry fired mind 1,500+ times as a stress test and it eventually chipped as i thought. Ise snap caps like every manufacturer recommends
I'm curious the striker guide on a Glock is plastic just like the Taurus but Glock doesn't recommend changing it especially with a metal one because the surrounding components are plastic as well and plastic to plastic contact is ok but adding a metal one would eat that plastic up quick. Is it not the same on a Taurus
Good evening, I'm from Brazil. I have the microcompact GX4 Graphene. When I shoot in sequence, the magazine catch is activated several times, causing the magazine to fall. I would like to know if your modification to the charger retainer worked... "sand the button", or if I should just change it sideways, which I wouldn't like lol. thanks.
Sanding the magazine release button helped me from bumping it on accident. It is still very easy to release the magazine though. I wish there was a stronger spring available.
