Been working on getting away from my narcissistic "mom". I take one step in one direction and she does something that requires me to put more energy and attention in another. I'm getting closer, she knows it.

We call it a generational curse you gotta break it. I went through it with mines and I didn't talk to her for a year. We came back to each other she was the bigger person. The lifestyle she lived kept her from me on and off and when we would get together she would just start trouble for no reason. It's been six years her street life caused her to have a stroke and now she is paralyzed she can not go anywhere she needs me. It hurts because of all the things she have done I forgiven her and I love her so much but I am forced to take care of her now after I been by her side so long. She never raised me or my dad her addiction caused her not too. I will take care of her but I just feel like it's going to be a burden but it's nothing I can do about...

I know you didn’t ask for help on this. But something pulled me to tell you that next time. No matter the cause. Don’t draw your attention away. You’ll be label negatively but that’s the lesson. Thicker skin and centered within yourself. Not self centered.

This is like it's final course to hash out any issues between us ( She always avoids those conversations bc she didn't want to acknowledge her behaviors). She knows that this is her last interaction with me. in her head I need her. In mine, I laugh. I'm finished playing games. Sorry to hear about your parents. When my dad passed away my moms full narcissistic tendencies came out and it was overwhelming

@@AsterTuco agreed. As a child I didn't know what it was because she had other adults backing up her behavior. As an adult I now understand what it means to be a narcissist and how they act and she doesn't get the reactions out of me that she used to. I've been grown comment learned, and healed from this experience

I've been clean from drugs almost 6 months now btw- thanks to the completely unknown way at look at life. Spiritually. You have given me the acknowledgement about my angels and spirit. I've gotten proof of it being real through a few supernatural experiences without have had taken any drugs. Faith is key to stay here. Thank you I don't want to see or hear about anything nasty to anyone who didnt hurt an animal or child. o again I'm not a mind reader never claimed to be either :))

Spot on , 👏 mate of 20 plus years, when I told him he needed to end with his toxic partner ! He let her come for me when I was supporting him! Hes gone out of my life! My ex got new girl still in contact now and then with me, never told me! When I found out I wished him well and goodbye! He is non-committal , immature and let others influence him and never got over his wife leaving him 11years ago. He just repeatedly do the same thing in relationship! That not me ! Mom stepdad and older brother it is hard to let them go….when you gave the advice sometimes when we are loyal to people which they didn’t really have the best interest at heart it took me 7-33 YEARS too find out this I do need to let them go and go within but it has been hard because I see there faces almost every single day and CPTSD is at worst when something inside triggers me about them

In the beginning its already resonating. Co dependent friendship here with a Taurus moon I’m Taurus sun. Yeah I want out of this. She’s been slowly pulling away and she might have her reasons but I also had my reasons too. Indeed being loyal to a toxic connection… and to a drug addiction… for sure… no I don’t… f that… I have been sensing the separation is imminent. She says she only needs space. Got bit confused.. thou some are very true.. thought the toxic in the beginning reading is my ex that now..kinda change ..and hit me back..in a very slow way.. just divorced and kids with him... But the second part.. so look like my ex.. honestly after my husband died.. I distance myself from outside world.. only working n family.. if one-day I should b in love again..
