Hi there! I’m a Brazilian owner of a TS9 and I must warn you that no Brazilian force is using it. Neither military or police forces. However, Philippines police forces acquired those to their use. Anyway, beyond nice recoil and its small ejection window, which I see no problem by now, it’s quite a nice pistol with a great smooth trigger.
Yes, but it's NATO approved which means that NATO feels that if they couldn't get the others brands of pistol it would be on the short list of what could be layed hands upon if an all out war happened.
Duty pistol for LE and military.. 4 inch barrel with 17+1 capacity. No thrills .. built for heavy use Basically the size and weight as a Beretta APX 1 full size
Can you link where you got this info? I tried finding it because I thought it would be a good read and good for review purposes but I can’t find anything alluding to this torture test. Thanks for watching and commenting and please subscribe if you haven’t already
Just go there and type Taurus TS9 tested for phillipines and it'll bring it up. They even froze the silly buggars at some point and fired them after being fired when exposed to mud and dirt!!! Also I saw another site, can't remember which that said this same pistol was also tested and certified in Europe independently of the Philippines testing.
Want that TS9 so bad , however we've been told that Taurus Brazil & Taurus USA Are squabbling over profit sharing And this TS9 is a result of a contract failure
I’ve heard that but don’t know it to be true. I hope they keep making it. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I have two: all black and OD green frame black slide. Love ‘em! Passed 20,000rd trials to be adopted by international special forces and police enforcement agencies. The no gap slide frame fit keeps out debris. The push button disassembly mechanism keeps things sealed and can’t jam with sand/mud the way a Glock can. I like the palpable loaded chamber indicator and you can also see brass at the extractor claw. This claw is ultra tall for reliable feeding and ejection. No Glock brass to face with the side port ejection. Low tilt Bubits barrel design means rounds feed smoother into the chamber. Magazines are made from seamless no-weld tube stock for strength and reliability by MecGar, the magazine industry leader.
I have no idea bro. I know the Kimber Mako is a very similar action. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Absolutely they do. People get so twisted up with price and build quality comparing them to H&K, CZ, and high end Sig. heck some even staccato. Not understanding that yes they are better and will probably run more rounds without breakage etc but they cost anywhere from $800 to 3k and this one can be had for $300 or $400 max depending where you are. Also, if you aren’t one to put 800 rounds a month through it and just want it for very occasional practice and self defense it will most certainly perform that without issue and if it’s all you can afford one shouldn’t be berated for it but rather congratulated that they found a reliable well priced gun to defend them and their family. For what it's worth, this gun is currently one of the service pistols of the Philippine National Police. It passed the NATO 20k rounds firing and also the water and dirt tests.
Nice 👍🏻 hope it’s continues to do great especially at a price most can afford. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Can you tell me if the trigger block safety works? I watched another vid where his wouldn't move. IDK if maybe he had a one off, or they disabled them from the factory? Thanks
How easy was the ts9 to rack? I am 74 and have a problem with some firearms. It looks like it should be easy because it uses a double spring. Thank you
One of the best pistols I've ever shot, high reliability, low recoil, it's literally jack of all trades, the vast majority of competitors here are migrating to Ts9, the top 3 in the championship use this pistol, including changing Glocks, Beretta, Arex, Sig etc. I bought one and I'm impressed with the results!
@@GSquaredTactical 100% satisfied with this gun to be honest I think it’s a whole lot of gun for that price. I really like how it handles when shooting.
lol I don’t think it will hit store shelves until late April or May at least that’s what our FFL’s are telling us. We don’t order guns online we support our local guys so whenever they get one we plan to. Thanks for watching
This is a striker fired pistol so it’s SAO and doesn’t have double strike feature if that’s what you are asking. Thanks for watching and for commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you have not already.
