Since my husband died I've closed myself off from feeling. From feeling anything like love in case it's taken away from me. I've found his death to be the most traumatic loss ever, I feel I died too when he did. But since my breakdown, or melt down I should say, I've been remembering all the good things about him, about us as a couple, which I denied myself this comfort for 5 long years. Resulting in extreme lonliness, building a wall around myself, becoming untouchable to feeling anything good again. I now feel so calm, lucky to have these lovely memories that I'm allowing myself to have in my life again. And I feel him around me.now. So close I could almost touch him. Oh Ali, you always hit the nail on the head! 100%! I discovered that I had been deliberately deceived for a period of 2 years by someone who played.out the part of being my reincarnated husband. Not once but twice with different men. I knew all along, I'm the Empress and see through people who deceive, and I suddenly saw red and exp!oded. I actually frightened myself at the force of my anger. It was not directed to the actors but myself for believing them. I was alone in my home and suddenly began screaming to the point when I couldn't breathe. I eventually stopped, cried on and off for several hours, recalling the intense love I've carried in my heart for my husband since his death in 2019. This is gonna be long but I wanna get it off my chest. Im a libra but my ex girlfriend was a Taurus. Ive been watching Taurus readings to get insight as to whats up with her life and where we stand. And sometimes when Taurus readings talk about toxic or unhappy situations that the Taurus is finally leaving to find their twinflame or true love, it hurts me because I was vulnerable with her and actually tried to do my damnest best to work it out and some taurus readings like to villify the exes not saying all though. It made it looked like I was on the wrong when she was the one who cheated on me and left me hanging. Broke up with me with no closure and didnt even tell me the truth about the break up. My ex gf of 2 years broke up with me citing that she couldn't handle the poly and long distance. Me and my bf are in a happy relationship and were open to allowing people in but we have our boundaries and its not for long term. My ex gf came into my life fully knowing the whole situation about me and my bf. She chased after me and I entertained her, everyone was in the loop but things got serious and she wanted an actual commitment. I was feeling it to, I felt this intense connection with her but it was my first time considering poly because I have always considered bringing people outside of our relationship a couple fun for me and my bf but a poly requires commitment and work especially long term ones. I asked her if she considered the consequences of being in an exclusive poly and she said she was dead serious after weighing in the options. Me and my bf have prepared ourselves to lose family, friends and facing judgement when we take this longterm before agreeing. Everthing was going great, my bf and ex gf chose to be mutually exclusive with me and not date other people on the side and I chose to commit with them. It was a new thing but we talked about boundaries, future plans, where to settle down in the future, bills and even planned a vacation together this year. Ive felt her being distant but she kept telling me everything was fine then out of the blue she said were not working. I asked why and she said its the poly. And I clarified and she said the distance is making the poly even harder. I didnt wanna force her. I wanted her to think her options through, but after the breakup we talked a couple more times but she said it feels raw and shes not ready yet she said she cant say anything about the future if we can try again so told me it will take awhile for her to heal from me cause she doesn't think she'll find someone like me, now im getting the hint the poly wasnt the actual problem. She said there was no 3rd party and my gut was protesting but I chose to believe her because I love her. I didnt want my past experience to influence my judgement so I kept telling myself that my past wasnt my ex gf. After a few times I stopped reaching out because I want to giver her space. We're in no contact but she left me hanging and hopeful because she never straight out said that we can't get back together again. She just said she needed time. Less than 2 months of the breakup she's dating a new girl. I knew there was but I won't dig. She linked her Twitter in her discord bio and my friend found out that she and this girl has been dating while we were still together. She was cheating on me, sending the other girl a bouquet and saying the same love words she told me on the girl. Because the new girl was screenshoting their convos on discord and posting on Twitter. Cheating can still happen in a poly and it sucks. Because I thought what we had was built on honesty and trust. Did I hope? Yes. Because she made it looked like I was at fault. I forgave her and forgave myself but it still hurts. I feel super drawn to her and feel this connection but I don't know if I feel it alone. She taught me that unconditional love means forgiving the person who broke you and wishing them healing and happiness. Now I'm gonna focus on myself. My bf has been very supportive about the whole thing and I asked him for a bit of distance so I can focus on myself, falling in love with myself cause I told my bf how I feel depleted and I can't pour from an empty cup. He has been encouraging me to date others or put myself out there too but I'm just not ready yet. I prefer to focus on what brings me joy. There has been this back in forth with me cause even after the cheating I was manifesting her and surrending to the universe but now I have this clarity that I need to stop pouring on a cup that doesnt pour back. I am not the problem. Im still grateful for my ex gf because without her I wouldnt have to meditate crazily and if I didnt I wouldnt have awakened and started seeing the signs and synchronities and feeling more intune with myself. I lost a future that we built and planned, lost potential kids and potential house and lifetime together but found myself in return. To people healing out there, I wish to send you strength and courage to close the door and leave situations that no longer fill you with joy. Loving someone doesnt always mean staying with them. Choose yourself. Choose Love always even if it means self love.
