Tawny's right. Whitesnake's videos were huge in part because she was in them. Did she get any credit or respect, no, not really because she is so beautiful. Somehow being so attractive means she doesn't have to be treated with respect. It's wrong. Keep going girl ❤️ we still love you.

Poor Tawny. It's obvious she was losing it. Coverdale was most likely referring to the *process* of the divorce and the pain involved in a breakup--not of her specifically. She sounded so bitter and angry.
Sad and surprised to hear things ended so badly with David Coverdale ... but had wondered a bit about their back story - however, they sure were a gorgeous couple back in the day. Just can't believe she is gone at 59 - 😢 P.S. Sad - she just spoke of her relationship with Chuck and how they'll "remain close / good friends until ..." (she trailed off). I used two work with a girl back in the '90's who had the biggest crush on David. It sounds to me he stalled the divorce over the toaster and patio to get your attention. Maybe he wasn't ready for the divorce just yet.
David Coverdale is one of all time best rock singers, an inspiration for millions of good musicians worldwide. He fronted Deep Purple in the 70´s and created Whitesnake at the end of that decade. He was huge before meeting this lady, continued to be great after their divorce and he continues to be praised in 2024. RIP, Tawny!
We all have 'stuff'..many have goofy ex's, you're certainly not alone, lol..the best thing is to ignore the bad crap and focus on the blessings.. Crap happens to everyone.. The key is to get past it and focus on what's good.. You have way more good and yes it isn't nice or cool to say a divorce was nasty but I guess it shows the person's true colors..Look at it this way, he is someone else's problem now..You have a good relationship with the father of your kids, and that is more than most have or could ask for..You've lived a charmed life..Nobody has it easy 100% of the time..Be well and be blessed..

Came to this video after reading Stephen Pearcy's Memoir of Ratt. I found her tribute to the last days and sweet memories of Robbin "the King" so touching and beautiful. Rest in peace, finally reunited in heaven, both you and Robbin.

She certainly didn't make Whitesnake a success! Before the videos I only knew her from a small part on a soap opera Santa Barbara. David's voice was the selling point of the group before and after those videos. She also told an interviewr that she was on Dr Drew's Rehab as the one person there with no issues needing the rehab! Tawny, I saw your first ex-husband's video where he talking about the divorce. Did it ever occur to you that you may have broken his heart? He really didn't specify who was making it a difficult divorce - based on what he said, he could've meant that he was the one making it difficult. Also, not classy of him to talk about it in front of his current wife!
Tawny, it looks like you're deleting all the comments that are unpleasant to you. But I still want to tell you something. David is the greatest artist and a man loved by millions! You should have realized that he belongs to the world, and could not belong to any woman. Coverdale was great long before I met you, and it would have been great if you hadn't even been born. Your participation in the video is just a small addition, and if there were no video at all, David's voice would know the world anyway. You only appeared in 2-3 videos, I personally saw only two episodes and was not even interested in who this woman who took part in the shooting was. You say you made a lot of money for him, but you don't say you robbed him in the divorce. David will always be loved by his true fans!
I noticed in the 'Is This Love' video, that he seemed very nonchalant as she was packing her bags to leave. He was also very distant when she was dancing by the bed. He was looking at her perplexed. I really don't think he cared. He was just caught up in having someone by his side.
@Lora Queen MTV played a big part in selling that album. She made those videos classy and memorable and the onscreen chemistry between them added to these videos. Of course Coverdale was great before he met her but the trilogy of those videos alone sold 1 million copies. After HER death, “Here I Go Again” was #1 on the charts. She didn’t even get paid to those videos and did them to help David out because she was dating him and he owed $3M to Geffen records. She had previously turned down other bands after Ratt to work on their music videos. David didn’t handle the divorce well and didn’t even try to use marriage counseling, just filed for divorce. She didn’t rob him, he got the Tahoe house where he wanted to live anyway.

As for Dave Coverdale feeling horrible and you denouncing him by bringing up that you allegedly made "a ton of money" for him, making known that you sent your attorneys first etc.: you're comparing bright and wet. The fact you sent the attorneys and didn't see him in person, if anything, is the straight reason of why he was devastated if he loved you. If Dave Coverdale owes anybody the success of "Whitesnake" album for making "a ton of money" it's himself and the musicians he was surrounded at that time.
