All that hard work making the pond is paying off, that owl seemed right at home, loved the little wash it was having. Did a badger also go in first part.
The owl did seem very at home 👍 The pond is definently becoming a popular attraction for the local wildlife. The small birds love it for washing also,and you never know what exciting new visitor might turn up next. Yes,it was a badger passing by 🙂
Aww! Such a beautiful bird. A source of water is so important for wild critters (especially here in the arid West) Good to see your pond is getting well used!
It is a dry area,the only other water being a seasonal stream at the bottom of the valley,so it is definently acting as a magnet for the wildlife,which they seem to appreciate. The Tawny is lovely,and nice to see it enjoying a dip in the pond 🙂
