It was good for the time it was produced. The simple 90s. Jaspal Bhatti produced the content himself & didn’t go to any studios for investment into audio tech or visually appealing sets. Normal Middle class 90s life was shown. And that was the intent as well as most people were middle class back then & had homes looking like what Jaspal Bhatti showed. And it had to be basic normal life only as he was exposing the rampant corruption in government department. You are looking at Full Tension, which came out in 1994-95 !! It’s almost 30 years. C’mon

Because there’s no talent left to make such authentic shows. Even if there is, the times have changed to a point they will sell to the channel which pays them top dollar. It’s all about investments, returns , profits & the crores!! That too when there is NO REAL TALENT to produce genuine relatable content. They care a damn about audiences now. Do you believe Bhatti ji cared for any much for returns ? Maybe DD will still produce content at this scale only, but then there is no talent & even if there’s talent which makes them like the 90s on DD, nobody will be watch as idiots are busy scrolling 9 sec stupid reels on Insta.
