Taxi Conflict | Wait for Uber, Bolt to be regulated 

E-hailing is private transport!!! Government can barely regulate the taxi industry but they are choosing to go for the small fish. Many politicians are in the taxi business that’s why there’s a reluctance in regulating the taxi industry. Bolt, Uber etc actually do pay taxi!!! It’s called Personal Income Tax but the idiots who are so accustomed to not paying taxes in the taxi industry don’t know this. WE NEED TO SEE AN END TO THE TAXI INDUSTRY’S CONTROL IN SOUTH AFRICA. IT IS POSSIBLE!!!

The taxi associations must develop their e-hailing App and offer e-hailing services to the communities. What or who prevent them for doing that?

The problem with Taxis, is that Taxis won’t take us where we want to go. Ubers are very very convenient And secondly, it proves that the SA government is weak. It’s not strict in it rules.

What changes come with regulating eHailing companies? Are the regulating the company or the drivers?

Now the question is: how they should be regulated? 1. By having a minimum price? 2. Specified routes? 3. Specified times? 4. Number of trips? How they should be regulated?

Are the taxi's paying taxes. Uber is very convenient for us who got no car. The taxi is not going to take us to buy groceries. Greed is a bad thing. It should be a choice for us to make. I can go wherever I want no one can control my life.

Wow... Government always target the wrong issues. The taxi industry is the problem and a huge monopoly but they will never touch it because of certain obvious issues...
