@@1969DIABOLIC thank you,glad you liked it👌 I’m from Australia and my favourite model are of Australian race cars in 1/18 but I have other scales of models and toy diecast cars like Hot Wheels,Matchbox etc I know there is one taxi in this series from Portugal,which I will of course include in a future video.

@@bigkeg9173 knowing you’re a VW fan,I thought you’d like the VW … I have a carded Matchbox version and a loose Majorette monster truck Mexican taxi. I’m pretty sure I got the Chevy and the Belmont from a seller at the Muscle Car Masters one year,they sold some quite pricey diecast but they were on a discount table for $20 each. I got Russell Ingall’s ‘06 championship winning BA Falcon by Classic Carlectables and a Biante VC SL/E Commodore for $20 or $25,which for a well detailed 1/43 was a bargain I thought. The Taxis of the World models are pretty low quality compared to the current Australian Cars The Collection series cars but IXO does the later Aussie series.

@@redtrux..000..FIRE. I have some other Trax cars and Trux buses which I’ll upload at some stage …there are more Aussie taxis and a few of those are Sydney taxis from RSL,De-Luxe and Yellow Cab Co. I last drove a taxi in Newcastle,in the same year as you last got one in Sydney … when I gave it away,Uber had pinched a lot of work.We were still mostly cash,so that coin holder was fully loaded and in use … if I ran low on $1 or $2 coins,I’d whip in to the car wash and swap a $10 or $20 in their change machine for some 1s & 2s 😂

@@MarksDiecastAndResinScale Uber really put a dent in the taxi industry. Were Trax & Trux affiliated? 👨‍🚒👍🍻

@@redtrux..000..FIRE. Uber really torpedoed the taxi business in Newcastle. Yes,Trax and Trux were put out by the same company.Did you get one of the Chevrolet Blitz bushfire brigade fire trucks🤔 🚒

@@MarksDiecastAndResinScale Yes, I've got one, but not the version with the diorama. It's one of the few Aussie fire vehicles I have.

@@redtrux..000..FIRE.I never got one but should have,they were a good model. I used to get the Trax brochure sent in the mail and they weren’t to badly priced,so I bought them from time to time to time.
