Taylor Dane is so beautiful and talented and has so much soul in her voice. I think she was really underrated considering the amount of talent she has.

Fun fact: Taylor Dayne hated singing these sappy love songs. She wanted to rock and dance and make bangers. But the record execs told her they needed some soulful ballads, and so she delivered.

In the song she is singing about her love leaving and leaving her with a broken heart that she cant get over because she still holds hope that her lover will return because the love she shared with him was so powerful Hence love will lead you back . Its a very sad but romantic song that holds out hope for her love to return because she believes it will happen. 😭

I was in a relationship and he broke my heart in a million pieces when he left me for another woman. I played this song over and over while my heart was breaking. Well, he did find me again and cried because he hurt me so bad. It's been over 25 years and we are great friends but he did come back into my life. He found me again and we have a wonderful relationship without the drama. This song takes me back to those heartbreaking days. We love each other and always will.
"If you love someone, set them free- if they come back it was meant to be...." I guess this song really represents that feeling. She is so great. One of the great voices of all time and this is a hell of a song to showcase her power.

Shebhas some good songs you might like to do some other of her reactions. Great strong voice. "Tell it to my heart" was her breakout hit. She also has an interesting bio story I think she lived in China or Japan and played at geisha houses or bars etc. A tough strong girl from the block type of story. I think I remember right.
Taylor Dayne will always be one of my all-time favorite Vocalists. I was a teenager when she first released her music and loved her ever since. Much as I love Celine Dion, ect; always believed she was better. Take that, Autotune!!. No way they could recreate natural talent, as found in Taylor Dayne!.
What Taylor was trying to say mama, was that she KNEW, that at this moment in time we are not meant to be. But we are soulmates and when the time is right it will be. Love you girl keep checking out fab music 💕💗
Do you want to know what inspired people back in the days to sing such heartbreaking ballads like this narcissism but back then people didn’t know what that was so they confused the trauma bond they had for love you see if two people truly loved each other they would still be together not leave the other person to twist in the wind and cause them to sing a song like this.
I think with beauty and a voice like hers,the power that be tried to control her,and get fresh with her,and she just wouldn't have it, and I believe she didn't give a damn, because her voice said it all,don't she seems like a strong woman that came from a strong family background, she didn't go for all of the sparkle and stars in Holly- Weird, just saying 😀 ✌💛
