Yeah me too. Gambit is my favorite X-Men character, and I've been wanting to see him reprise the role for a long time. He was good fit for it, and most people enjoyed his performance in the movie. Taylor was very good in the last season of True Detective. I believe he could've done a good job had he gotten the solo movie.

Taylor is a way better actor. Channing is funny and a good dancer but that’s about it

He was so excellent as Gambit and it killed me that they said Channing Tatum would play him. 0 finesse.

Dahkittydoonsta Everyone I knew was sympathetic about the children and such in the compound, but they held no sympathy for David. They think the FBI could have handled things differently and that it was a tragedy that could have been avoided, but they’re glad that the cult is gone and future children are safe from it

Especially since Trump’s election, which served to signal to the unintelligent and hateful bigots that they no longer have to hide their biases or parse their language. I, for one, am not without fault. I was living a selfish and unaware existence and truly believed that we were the great United States of America. There’s no way in a million years that I thought we were still so horribly ignorant and unaccepting of each other. I thought we were better than this. I was wrong. A lot of people were wrong. And now we are no longer the respected world superpower we were for so many decades. Now the rest of the world looks at us and they see racism and violence and willful ignorance leading to prejudice. And to top it off, they look at our elected leaders and know that they don’t have to treat us with any respect and certainly don’t have to take us seriously. Trump’s America is a global laughingstock

They irony is that they did learn from their mistakes and made new ones. You saw this play out in Bunkervillie and Malheur where federal officials were up against people hoping to replay Waco, and the kid gloves that saved lives ended up emboldening and legitimizing the separatists. Years of trying to avoid 'another Waco' have made things more dangerous.

hopefully improvement "is" the important thing to protect. the brief non acceptance of responsibility by the feds and atf probably made the whole mistake much more dangerous for those working in the federal building, near the front wall. destruction isn't a productive answer at all. if the years of trying to avoid another waco is because of red tape or laws preventing illegal search and seizures, then voting bills to reduce those rights of civilians on the piggy backs of unrelated laws, wouldn't be the best approach at disregarding constitutional rights meanings, even if you are trump. freedom itself is pretty dangerous in the hands of those who oppose or push it, and more dangerous by those in power that recklessly attempt to solve or preserve it by force on a whim. like the gun thing, freedom isn't working out so well in that regard. the same with dynamite, someone had to make a move, just think if that was still an over the counter sale, the ammonium nitrate sales would have to be priced above gold, to try and slow that down some.
