The TC73 Rifle is proudly brought to you by Taylor’s & Co. Firearms. 100% Made in the USA, the TC73 is an 1873 lever action rifle designed with performance in mind while maintaining the historic features of the lever gun that we all know and love.
With high quality fit and finish, true case coloring and smooth lines - the TC73 is easy on the eyes. But it’s what’s inside that makes it great! The highest quality machining is exhibited on the TC73 with our legendary Taylor Tuned action on each rifle. The smoothest rifle you will ever handle right out of the box. But don’t just take our word for it -
With superior qualities such as improved carrier block design, lightened trigger pull, hardened screws and fully machined internal parts, the TC73 is a superior representation of the 1873 lever gun made with modern day technology and quality standards. Using the highest quality steel and the highest grade of case coloring with each receiver being quenched one at a time - we spared no detail. A rubber butt pad, and white bead front sight with a semi-buckhorn rear sight complete the finishing touches for a first-rate yet practical rifle. The versatility of 9MM meets Taylor’s standard of Where Legend Meets Performance today.
Did we mention the barrel is threaded? Because why not.

This is FANTASTIC. Such GREAT appeal to have a classic '73 in an inexpensive and available caliber for the modern shooter. This has to be one of the greatest plinker rifles of all time. I really Hope Taylor keep this rifle in their catalog for a long time!

Clever idea. I appreciate the attention to detail found in Taylor's guns. This will be an excellent way to enjoy an old style rifle with ammo that is very affordable.

Just take my money already…. I already have an SP5, a JP Enterpriesis PCC, and an Sig MPX PCC, and I’m betting none will be half as fun as this lever gun suppressed…

If the can make this work for rimless 9mm, I bet they could revatilize the 1876 action with 350 Legend. The 350's overall cartridge length is within the limits of the 1876's action size.

Can it shoot 9mm short Aka .380acp?

This is a reproduction of an 1873 Winchester rifle. Taylor's is located in Winchester, VA.

Y’all couldn’t make this thing for about half that price? I guess I’ll wait for Ruger, Henry, or Rossi to make a knockoff version.

Says MADE IN USA. Where exactly? I know the barrel is marked Winchester, Virginia. OK. But I'm unaware or any firearms manufacturing facility in Winchester. Somebody must know where exactly in the United States this gun is 100% made. Everything "Taylor's" in the way of lever guns used to be UBERTI. Is Uberti making the parts and shipping them to an assembler in the U.S.?
@TaylorsCompanyFirearmsOfficial
@TaylorsCompanyFirearmsOfficial Месяц назад
Great questions! There is not a single Uberti part in this rifle but you are correct, we do import Uberti products as fully assembled firearms. For the TC73 - we have engineered and made all of our parts 100% in the USA using high quality machinery and steel. Every other component is strictly made in the USA as well including the butt pad, and the stock and forend. The finishing is also being completed right here stateside. We are thrilled to bring this to market and looking forward to introducing a completely 100% American made rifle by Taylor's.

Becasue the 44 winchester was a real power house... 😅 naw bonded 147 9mm will do more than job on the farm, self defense from humans and even take small game. Plus, it's quite affordable.

I thought you were not supposed to put pointy bullets in a tube magazine?? What gives, have we forgotten the lessons of the past?

There are flat nose 9mm available, but I agree the promo shouldn't have been photoed with ball ammo.
@mikeowen9268

It should be mentioned in their literature. Flat nosed and lead tipped bullets are not easy to find in 9mm. (Checked Academy Sunday, no luck) I see this as a potential problem with a lot of liability for them. All my buddies who attended NRAM had already left by the time I saw this. So no chance for me to get a question directly asked to one of their reps. Maybe they will check their channel.

Truncated cone bullets are easy enough to find. You're ot being realistic if you're making that the issue.
@Yoda052

Blue bullets make an excellent 147 gr TC 9mm bullet that I already run through my Dead Air Wolfman. If you can’t find a heavy 9mm that isn’t “pointy” it’s because you haven’t tried to find any.

Not going to see production. Straight-walled rimless cartridges headspace on the case mouth, which means no crimp, no crimp leads to bullet set-back under recoil and magazine spring pressure. To everybody getting all excited: y’all really think NO OTHER firearm manufacturer in the last 120 years ever thought of doing this ? The tactical levergun market alone would go WILD for this in any auto pistol caliber. 9mm, .40, 10mm, 45ACP, even .50AE. But it’s not practical, I’m not even sure what Taylor’s is thinking with this. The lawsuits would be ridiculous if this thing were ever to hit the market.

Bullet setback is I'm guessing going to cause the chamber to explode?
@jasonelliott2736
@jasonelliott2736 3 месяца назад
@@OzzieMozzie777 Potentially. It’s basically decreasing the free space in the cartridge, possibly even compressing the powder charge, which can cause erratic powder ignition. Excessive pressure, blown primers, ruptured chambers, maybe even bullets lodged in the barrel from LOW pressure can all occur.
