That's a good point. But it's also a super fun moment that sets up the insanity to come perfectly. I'm a bigger guy, and often slow jojo rolls hurt my thighs as they're crushed by my weight hanging on the restraints. (See the ending of Untamed!) But this thing is super comfortable, and you can just hear everyone laughing as they go through it. I have several videos of it from the ground, and in every one of them, all you can hear is laughing! It really is a ride to happiness from the first moment!

Most of the time, they assess each segment of the ride and offer a fun filled reaction. Here, they can’t even process what is going on to assess, they’re just enjoying themselves. It’s as if they aren’t content creators and simply experiencing it. This is why they started doing this in the first place. You can tell it’s literally their ride to happiness.

Ah, my favorite! My first ride on TRTH was on the press evening and it totally blew my mind, it had the whole day to warm up and my first ride was so incredibly intense!

This video made me buy the annual plopsa pass and i travelled 5 hours to plopsaland from germany and stayed 2 days. I went on RTH about 30 times and it so fun. I am 46 and get sick on any chain carousel but this one kept me really ok. Only when i went 3 times in a row in the same train, i needed a break for an hour. Operations are great. As you can see, they even operate with 2 trains in a pretty empty park and you never have to wait more than 20 mins. Perfect

Honestly I think it’s the best coaster in the world right now! I was absolutely blown away. Everything is just so damn perfect, even the soundtrack is bang on! Mack really showed what they can do and I cannot wait to see more… particularly the new Big Dipper at Europa park

How does this compare to X2/Eejanaika in terms of intensity and the "out-of-this-world"-ness? I still can't forget the first time I went on Eejanaika and thinking this isn't really a rollercoaster but a whole another experience. From what I see, Ride to Happiness seems to be up there as well - can't wait to experience it myself.

It's freaking insane! I spent 4.5 hours each way by train and around $500 to add this to my trip I just got back from after watching this video and others. And it was worth all the time, effort and money. There's literally nothing else like it on the planet. I ended up ranking it as my #2, behind only Zadra.

@@throughthewindowpane Honestly, there are enough thrills on RtH to make the trip worthwhile! It's absolutely breathtaking and had me laughing repeatedly on every ride. I not only flew to Europe, but I took over 9 hours of train rides round trip (from Amsterdam) to ride it, and didn't regret it for a second. But there's also Anubis: the ride, a Mack launched coaster with three inversions. There's a Mack SuperSplash water coaster, a decent mid-sized GCI wooden coaster, a great dinosaur themed log flume, a 200+ foot tall Starflyer, a Disk-O ride, and three family coasters.

@@throughthewindowpane Another important point is that while we always her that spinning rides are different on every ride, it's rarely actually all that true. But on this ride, it's absolutely true of almost every moment on the ride. Each and every element hits COMPLETELY differently depending on what angle you're facing when you're hitting it, and if and how fast you're spinning. So, it's like riding a different coaster every time. You know how when you ride a coaster you end up loving for the first time, how certain intense moments surprise and delight you, but you'll never quite get that experience of surprise from your first ride again, because you know what to expect? That's EVERY ride on this thing! You think you know what's gonna happen as a certain element is approaching, and then ... nope! It's completely different. A Ride to Happiness, for sure!

Plopsa has a policy where you can only ride this 3 times without leaving your seat for health reasons... meanwhile my group had a ERT session on rth and I rode it 20 times in an hour, that was the first time I said hmm maybe that was too much 😂

What I love about this coaster (granted, I haven't ridden it yet), is that it kinda sums up the festival that its based on, Tomorrowland. I've been to the festival itself and this coaster is like being at the festival. It has this sensory overload aspect, and like going from stage to stage, the experience changes but it's still intense.

Reminds me of the first and only time I rode "X" (not X2...X) at Magic Mountain in 2004. I love coasters but that was the most terrifying experience on any ride and I will NEVER forget it.
