For a cancer patient, especially at that age, there can be no better gift in the world than such a touching moment from her idol and hero. That may have just been a small moment to Taylor and her fan at another concert, but to that small child, that's her reason to keep fighting through that cancer. Taylor deserves a lot of credit, but that child is the real hero.
You are right. These seemingly small moments in time are what really matters. This young child will carry this meeting in her heart for the rest of her days. It was touching to see.

Scarlett's family updated everyone this month saying there'd been a rapid deterioration of her condition and that she may not survive until her 10th birthday on May 7th. Life can be so unbelievably cruel. 😢💔

Taylor is such a great person and Christian, I started tearing up. She just made this little girl smile and so happy. Also this little girl forgot for a moment all the pain she is going through.

Whoever's not crying watching this is a robot. Taylor Swift is so genuine with her love and affection when you see other celebrities hugging fans they are doing it like a perfunctory motion that they are just going through because they have to and they just don't seem sincere Beyonce her smile looks fake and everything about her talking with a fan or somebody always looks so fake. But Taylor's whole body and spirit and Locomotion and arms and their facial expression and her eyes and how she jumps to her knees to get down to this little ones level and hugs her so tight and so long is just so 100% genuine. Watching this little kid, looking up I swear that little kid was looking up at an angel coming right for her, and that is exactly what happened. Taylor is just an unbelievable remarkable human being. I don't know how she does it. Can you imagine how many people want to be in her orbit but because she's only one person she can't accommodate everybody? But I'm sure even if she can't get back to her friends from long ago when they text her or call her, I'm sure she does it in such a sweet way that they don't feel abandoned. I often wonder if her and Abigail are still buddies? I'm sure Taylor is way way way way way way busy. I do not know how she does everything she does in a meager 24 hours and still bakes homemade pumpkin bread to bring to a get together. I'm just shaking my head and chuckling because it's not humanly possible, so I guess maybe she is an angel

I think that little girl had tears on her cheeks as Taylor resumed her show. When you're suffering and suddenly someone you love hugs you and tells you they love you right back it can make you cry. I really hope that little girl can beat that cancer. Now I have to wipe my eyes. 😥

I'm one of the lucky cancer survivors...Miss Swift shares the immense love she has in her heart, and in her songs with as many people as humanly possible. She is one of the rare breed of celebrities of any sort that is truly genuine in her love and warmth. We can all learn something from her...
Reminds me of an incident some years ago… a little 4-year-old girl loved the song, “This Kiss,” & family had taken her to several places to find the cassette. She would walk up to the store clerks & ask if they had “Thith kith, thith kith,”🎶 (singing). Purchasing the cassette thrilled her to no end! Later there was a NASCAR-type event in Nashville, where a select few celebrities were appearing, the artist of that song being one of them. Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where little girl was being treated for cancer was given some complimentary tickets which they shared with her. The celebrities were meeting & greeting folks, etc. Another celebrity went over to the artist, explained the situation re: her young fan. She coldly refused to walk a few yards over to even say hello-she was busy chatting with a fellow celebrity. Billy Ray Cyrus more than made up for it bc he was very engaging & so nice, as were others. Little girl passed away a few weeks later… Taylor Swift has warmed the hearts of EVERYONE with her compassion & love shown to this young girl! There are no words for how she BLESSED her… & her family. We thank you, TS!💖
Say what you will about Taylor but the 22 hat that she autographs and wears then places on a child’s head every night is an act of kindness that has my utmost respect.

I hope where every this woman is that she is free and happy and no longer feeling pain After five years of fighting cancer, Ally died on Nov. 13 at 16 years old she got her final wish before she got to go home
