The Taylor in black is who the media presents her as (at least when all the Kanye/Kim crap was going on). The "real" Taylor is inside the glass. She finally summons enough power to destroy the other Taylor and be free to be herself.

Dude, a Part 2 to this would be AMAZING especially now that she's not only re-recording her own version but she's also writing scripts for movies. She's currently got something in the works as we speak. She already did a mini movie for All Too Well. I would love to see a mini movie of this song, "Bad Blood" and "Vigilante Shit". "They're burning all the witches" is a lyric to the song "I Did Something Bad" from the same album, reputation. Different songs but tied up together. While the obvious interpretation was the dark hooded Taylor being the bad guy, there are many interpretations for it. Some say she's the media portrayal of Taylor Swift, all darken and twisted, whom the newborn Taylor destroy to set free. But my favorite one is that the hooded Taylor is the "old and wounded" Taylor who also symbolizes her bad reputation, she is training new Taylor to be stronger and better to face everything, and she sacrificed herself (or her bad rep) in order to let new Taylor be free. My favorite part (which i feel like many gloss over) is the staircase scene with "they're burning all the witches" quote, it seems to me that the "bad Taylor" with destroyed face was holding the bad robots (portraying the media) from reaching to new Taylor who's climbing up the staircase.
