She can be a little shaky but she has the stamina to hold high notes, but to me what proved her as a true artist was the fact that she covered a different song every night during her speak now tour and her renditions were beautiful
Guys we don't say Taylor has the best voice but Taylor has a unique voice that no one has. Btw we love her but not just for her voice, clothes, fame or face we also love her because of her character.

I have a feeling that Taylor's next album will show her hitting more high notes, and improved voice. In these performances, you can say she really wanted to impress. I feel that in her break, she is creating a new, much stronger, much fiercer or maybe softer image but she will have an improved voice. She will hit high notes more, she has the voice. Mariah Carey's longest sustained note is 16 seconds and Taylor came incredibly close at 15.
i was wondering like ppl kept saying why is she screaming? i mean like, this is high note and she supposed to scream to get a perfect high note and she has her own technique to control her voice. maybe some songs she slayed but mostly, she's the incredible country singer.

She has an amazing tone. The thing that annoys me about her is that she needs vocal lessons. I feel like she could reach her full potential if she did get them. Her tone is perfection and if she had perfect technique she would be the total package.

Because she is marketable she is white, skinny and young. But when it comes to singing nahh sure she can sing "decently" but since people like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey heightened the standards for singing, she will never be on my list as a good singer. But she is a good songwriter though I'll give her that.

She is singing from her throat rather than her chest, which is not necessarily lack of ability, but a bad habit many use to reach higher notes. In later performances she breaks away from that, likely from vocal lessons. At other parts, though, she properly sings from the chest rather than the throat such as 0:29, 0:36, 1:17, 3:30, 2:00 You can especially see improvement after and around the Speak Now era. (ex: 3:09, 3:46, 4:27, 0:55, 2:18) In those performances, the notes are more fluid and natural, with no strain on the vocal chords. TL;DR some of these aren't great because she didn't sing it properly/learn to hold her voice (Yes, I did just do an entire analysis of this video of Taylor Swift.)
i think the most reason why she's well known is because of her songs, they do sound really emotional and easy to touch the heart. also she is very sociable and caring.

Independently from my opinion of Taylor Swift‘s vocal ability, I just wanna throw in that holding notes for a longer period of time doesn‘t automatically make you a good singer.
It doesn't matter if she sings high notes or not because a real artist is not just about singing, it's also about song writing, producing and putting real emotions into her songs. Her voice is unique, I would not compare her to any other artist out there, she might not be the best but shes unique
Most of Taylor's notes are dificult to hold . I mean if u sing them yourself , then your voice will crack a bit . Taylor Swift has a pleasant voice , she can do vocals , she writes her own songs and one of the best artist out there. Those who say that she can't sing are stupid , deaf and dumb. I've watched so many live performances of her and have finally come to the conclusion that she can sing.

she can sing obviously but not well. Shes not a good singer in general. That 15 second note wasnt even that good, it didnt have resonance, vibrato, support and it was shaky. Her vocals are mediocre at best. Shes literally way below average along with her friend selena
