She does the same reaction each day of the show I was there she starts with “so loud” puts her head down does the whole act then stands there to get a bigger reaction she says the same thing each night it’s very weird to see it’s the same act each day I recorded it on 8-8-23. Then she says “what are you doing” just saying it’s part of the act
@@johnmdwyer John died in 1980 and they stopped touring in 1967 (if I remember correctly). The tour that would have been a triumph (but never happened) would have been in the very late 60s when they had reached their creative peak and were still together. It didn’t happen and many say (but we’ll never know) that it was maybe a combination of overwhelming hysteria and the lack of technology in large stadiums to drown it out. I consider Swift on a similar level but she’s able to handle the hysteria and the technology is such that there are no problems of her being drowned out even in an acoustic setting. PS they stopped touring in 1966 not 1967.

Spoiler alert: They do it at every show. ;) It's kind of an unspoken thing, but she always gets a long standing ovation after this song. I will say that this one is the longest I've seen. When I saw her, we beat the record, and that was only like 7 1/2 minutes, so it kind of became a competition among cities. But, yeah, you're probably safe to make that merch run. LOL
I learned today she gave each semi driver that drove on her American tour a $100,000 bonus each, and the tour had about 90 semi trucks because there were 2 complete stages going around America. As one was being set up or used the other state set was traveling to another tour destination. With the pandemic and supply chain issues the trucking industry had major trouble. She changed a lot of drivers lives with that bonus. It's also estimated that in total she gave $55 million in bonuses to everyone who worked on her tour. I know probably 95% of the touring artist couldn't do that, but I hope it will make them give what they can, if they don't already, to all the people who make their tours possible. Also the handwritten thank you notes Taylor gave everyone were such an awesome touch.

I hear yà. I lost my best friend my mother then my soul mate of 20 years. The same year I was blessed with a gràndson and I have listened to Taylor every weekend since he was born. Now he is two now and know several of her songs word for word. I have just found out I have lung cancer. The only thing on my bucket list is to take Ezra to see her in concert. I think that would let him remember us both forever. Amen

There was a the tiniest hint of smugness, and not in a nasty way, and satisfaction from Taylor there right after the song finished and she heard the first reaction. It’s was like “Hah I got you guys. I was there that night. I’ll never forget the incredible experience of Taylor love in the SoFi Stadium after that song. I was screaming and clapping and crying! 8/9/23 forever one of my favorite nights!!!❤
She spent 3 1/2 hours walking, dancing, singing, putting her whole heart into her performance. I can only guess at how many miles she racked up moving across her huge stage. No other artist I have ever heard of continued their show in the rain, making it part of the show. She is still so humble with this ovation. Deserves every second of it.

So many thoughts in my brain as I watch this. Those who give out love and kindness receive it back tenfold. This is an example. The love from the crowd must be overwhelming in terms of the sound and the lights and emotion it stimulates in her and through her response, in them. This feeling, this love for what you do, for her, the creative aspect as well as what it creates in others, is what keeps people going, well beyond the financial gains. She performs, not for attention, per se, but for this FEELING, and that is probably why she will keep creating for a long time. It is not a job, work, or a paycheck. It is not a career, a profession, a role. It is who and what she is. The adage: "Do what you love to do and you will never feel like you are working" applies here. Also: she is completed by her work and her creative process. I have been thinking about her and Joe (NOTE: I am a new fan, don't know the entire story, BUT: if he was not comfortable with her fame, and or he wanted a more traditional relationship, including marriage, children, and consistent at home life, this would not be fulfilling for Taylor Swift. She is bigger than a house, husband, and children.
