I never crocheted before either and wanted to try. I ended up getting a wooble because they are made for beginners and already start the process for you. IMO crochet instructions are hard to understand initially. This seems like a harder set.

I came to your video because I was searching reviews of this particular Crochet kit, and I was quite surprised that you APPEAR to be the only video review of this kit. Which I find odd given the size of the fan base and that this kit has been out about two months now. I'm planning to make one of these and have never heard of the publisher of this kit, so I wanted some insight before I get it. Most of my kits come from one publisher so I'm used to how their kits come. Your video was helpful, although I'll be honest I was hoping for a review from someone who had made the kit, but your unboxing let me at least see that this looks very very much similar to other kits I buy. This same publisher makes a few other artists as well, so if the Taylor Swift comes out well, I'll likely be looking for those down the road. And by the way you pronounced "Amigurumi" better than you maybe think you did. It's a Japanese word that loosely means "crochet stuffed toy or doll." Lastly, did you end up trying to learn to make this? Often these types of kits look beginner friendly, but really rely on you to have experience with crochet already. I'm curious if you were successful with making her, or if you found someone to make her for you?

I got this kit to make for my niece, its not for beginners! I've been crocheting for 50 years, and this is for those who are familiar with crochet terms, stitches & tension. I started working on the arms, it will take me awhile, I want the doll to look perfect.
