I feel like Liz portrays that excited feeling of meeting someone new and falling in love, while Megan shows the sad, "am I ever going to see this person again" kind of goodbye side of the song.

Anyone else here after the resurgence of Enchanted by Taylor? I saw a video of the song on TikTok and couldn’t remember HOW I knew the song word for word (bc I haven’t heard it since I was in high school circa 2009-2013) and then I remembered this cover which I would listen to so regularly. You would actually be really surprised at the high notes Megan can hit. Especially when she sings the harmony. Puts a smile on my face every time :) Honestly they just go great together, cause whenever one of them sings lead, the other one fills in the harmony perfectly.
