@@lxy315lxy I can definitely hear loads of differences. Ed sings way differently in loads of places and Taylor's voice is more mature. The harmonies are different. If you layered them over each other you'd probably notice the difference. I couldn't hear the difference in Love Story but I can hear the differences in just about every other song. Red being one of them that sticks out

I was a teen when this first came out. I didn’t think too much of the lyrics, just enjoyed the melody and how it sounded. Ten years later, I’ve just finished meeting up with a guy in a coffee shop. We talked and at some point during our time there, something changed and we clicked. Walking home from that coffee shop, I remember feeling giddy and how I wanted to see him again. I decided to listen to this song and it was magical really in how the song reflected that feeling when you meet someone who you’re excited about. That person who changes everything.

The background band is so subtle, unlike the older version where the strumming of guitar felt heavy for me. This is almost like an acoustic version, or is it? You can fully feel the "childhood" in this song. Like bestfriend telling stories of their younger selves. Taylor's Version is far more relaxing than the older version.
