@@enkryptron The regional countries in South East Asia could not understand why Taylor performed 6 concerts all in Singapore. Imagine 1 concert in one country, pack up, off to the next. Other than $, ease of logistics, and childhood experience, Taylor's team agree to the deal. And it is very convenient for regional swifties to come to Singapore for the concert. Singapore have world-class infrastructure. Coldplay was here too, for 6 concerts.

Gen z here too. I love going to concerts. I enjoy the adrenaline of being able to shout the lyrics with my friends, watching someone physically perform infront of my eyes. But I tend to not choose expensive seats because I don't see a point. I just choose somewhere comfortable and affordable, that's what I did for the eras tour, bought a $100 ticket, went, enjoy my time, go home. But I might whale if my most favourite artist ever comes to Singapore so I can understand why some are willing to spend a fortune for Taylor. Unfortunately I don't have a big emotional connection with her music even though I listened to her growing up, so I didn't see the point to spend a lot for her concert lol

Its about chasing experiences and finding interest in life. Some love it but some find no need for it, like people who don't understand people spending money to go overseas etc

Same logic as "I don't get why my friends would pay to go to a gym to exercise / hire a PT / join classes when they can exercise for free." It's about preference isn't it? Why go to a football game at a stadium live when you can watch it at home which is more comfortable? Why watch football at all when it's 90 plus minutes of your life just 'gone' or 'wasted'? Why travel when you can see photos and videos from the comfort of one's home? Why are youth into Kpop even when the culture is so toxic? Why?

Yes, first time that they don't allow collapsible umbrellas in and so many restrictions that in the end, they barely check the bags properly in order to allow people to enter the stadium before concert starts. My daughter had to throw her umbrella away as well. At least let them put it aside and collect it afterwards. Now just collecting umbrellas to throw away and contribute to landfill.

I think they didn't throw away the umbrellas. Its being recycled at various housing estates that run those "share an umbrella" initiatives. Thanks for your contributions 😂😂.

She didn’t stop by Seoul and HK … she clearly didn’t plan to have many stops. Taylor is smart enough to take Singapore’s offer especially if she didn’t plan to stop by that many countries. After that fiasco in Brazil, she best stay away from countries that couldn’t handle and care for the crowd of concert goers. I mean Japan and Singapore clearly has that covered.

Because Singaporean government isn’t corrupt and any move they make that loses money, they will get lots of flak. This move of theirs was clearly economically sound and well studied.

Yeah instead … she should support corrupt countries who couldn’t handle the crowd? Singapore’s system works for them. They are the strongest economy in South East Asia (despite having no natural resources - they don’t even have water). They provide top notch housing and health care for their people. At least their government isn’t corrupt and they are actually enriching their country and helping their citizens. Would you rather somewhere, where the homeless are everywhere, crime is so rampant and businesses are closing? I’d rather have a government that knows what it’s doing.
