I was at a covid facility last year and they had no internet connection so i could not access music other than the ones saved in my laptop. Folklore was the only album I had during those 14 days. Listening to this again is reminder that i have survived. Thank you, Taylor Swift.

The musical masterpiece of folklore… I can imagine myself in a cabin… far in the woods in solidarity, just playing cards and drinking tea while staring out a foggy window on a couch… a book and a framed picture of a willow on a dark brown wood. That’s how I imagine folklore summed up into a real world.

ok, now.... Three songs in.... And I'm losing my mind all over again about how incredibly beautiful these songs are, and what a masterful musician and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is, but also I'm just freaking amazed at how you are able to capture all of that and bring it through, song after song, in such a beautiful way that is peaceful and calming and overwhelming in all of the appropriate ways.
