i was so confused like “this doesn’t sound like the 2012 demo” i didn’t realize there were demos leaked from TV!! it’s really neat hearing Taylor without the backing vocals!
I can since I’m a producer and can hear the differences! The vocals aren’t mixed or processed and they’re like… really on top of the mix. It’s very unfinished/unpolished and the whole point of the demo is to outline the idea of the final mix. It’s missing extra instruments and backing vocals, as well as various fx and processing!! It’s also not mixed, or mastered at all. This was basically to get an idea of what Tay wanted the final vault track to sound like!!
