It always makes me angry when people underestimate Taylor. Like you think she's the biggest artist in the world, selling-out stadiums, breaking records every week for nothing? She's extremely talented and works extremely hard.

You shouldn’t be angry. People don’t know what they don’t know. Beyoncé is an enormous star, and I know like three songs. It doesn’t mean I doubt her talent, I just don’t know what she’s about. Some people are like that about Taylor. But at least they’re listening now! 😍

People DO doubt Taylor’s talent, people like to belittle Taylor, we absolutely should be angry about that, but angry in a way where we can change that narrative and help people see the talent that seeps from Taylor. She isn’t only an amazing performer. She’s an expert with a pen. She’s a brilliant business woman. And she still manages to be really kind.
The fact she writes 100% of her own music makes her that much more awesome.. not to mention all the instruments she plays.. Taylor is the damn music industry.

Taylor is not really a dancer, she has a few short dance sequences in a few of her music videos, and she pulls them off, as she does with the small amount of dancing she does on tour. But she has video clips of " the making of" showing the filming of these few music videos, and in them she shares her struggle and anxiety with performing the dancing and choreography scenes. She very much enjoys dancing to other artists performances at awards shows, and dances at parties, however she is keenly aware of the fact that her dancing looks very quirky, and awkward, and has mocked herself dancing many times in interviews. She likes dancing for fun, but knows she isn't good at it, and therefore doesn't even even try to look good at it, unless it is a short choreographed bit in a video, or for a live show. In those cases, she'll put in a bit of effort, but knows she will never be known for her dancing ability. Some comedians/ talk show hosts have lovingly mocked her dancing on their shows as well. She is a great performer despite the fact that she isn't a Shakira, Beyonce, or J-Lo, but she is just as talented in her own way.
I think she is sexy as hell dancing, even for the reason she is not "that" good at it. But she is even more sexy with a guitar in her hands or on the piano, because that is where her real talent really shines.
As far as performers, Beyonce and Taylor are FIRE. They are top tier woman power. I love that they support each other and they don't allow a narrative of competition.

She's a lyrical genius and known as the 'Mastermind.' 😂❤ Look, I was shocked too. 😮 I'm probably too old to be a Swiftie, but I got mad respect for her talent and am a huge fan. I always liked her and knew she was talented, watching her play numerous instruments... but she's bloody amazing.

You didn’t know she was a megastar…? She’s literally still on the highest grossing tour of all time. Over $2 billion. She has had STRICTLY stadium-only tours since her third album. Stadium = 70,000+ always sold out shows. This tour there are 20-30k outside the show in the parking lot listening and hundreds of thousands watching on streams

Bey goes to Taylor's concerts whenever she's not on tour herself. They are very close friends which you can understand that they are badass performers and bey was blown away by Taylor's huge 60-70k audiences. Bey has been a billionairess for quite a few years and now Taylor has caught up. Funny story; Taylor has appeared on Katie Curic's daytime shows and Katie wondered out loud about why aren't the boys attending your shows and Taylor said, "oh they are, more than ever. They know where the girls are now." 😁😁 I'm an 80 year old 'Swifty' myself. Not because of her music or her shows, but because I decided to read up on her history and saw all the philanthropy she had done with her millions of dollars. All the good things she has done, and continues to do, with her money.
Like you, I did not get her until recently. Pretty singer. Like you, her performance and especially songwriting are indeed impressive. I grew up listening to the Beatles, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and so many other superlative songwriters and I can confidently say she stands among the very greatest of them. TS really is all that and more. Her initial record label sold her masters out from under her for $300m, now valued at $750million. (This is what they did to Lennon & McCartney in the 1960s!) But instead of lying down and taking it, she set out to re-record all her old records they stole from her. Each one she releases sells far more than the original. Currently a song from a 4 year old album of hers is #1 on Spotify, Cruel Summer. She just cancelled the major film studios. They offered her peanuts to distribute her new film, so her team made a direct deal with AMC Theatres . Now the a-hole studios are having to reschedule the release of some of their films because they don't want to compete with The Eras Tour Film.🤣 Bitch is FIERCE.

You're one of the few who's commented on the wardrobe difference. Yes, this video is an edit of video from a couple performances. It's good, but there are some syncing issues and the wardrobe difference can be annoying. I prefer the videos of her performances from the original source - Netflix for the Reputation tour. But, if you can't do that, then the EAS youtube channel is the one I would suggest using. Their edits seem to use the original official videos of the performance and the syncing of the sound seems to be the best. EAS has a lot of videos from the tours and other performances.
@@Hey_Jamie - The EAS channel doesn't combine those two performances though. Just uses the tour one for the one video. I think they have the AMA performance, but it's a separate video. Pretty sure. Either way, the EAS one appears to stick to using video footage from the same performance, so you don't get the discrepancy with the outfit being different during the video.
Taylor is the number one female artist in the world. Has won more awards than anyone. Beyonce isn't even close. Taylor won the grammy for best album of the year a few years ago, up against Beyonce. Kanye didn't like that, so he interrupted her getting the Gramy. Dick move.

Heh, yes. The sleeves are different. This is from the video of the tour - you can also find raw footage of just a single performance. That said, the audio is all taken from one performance, and she’s singing live (and dancing). As to the dancing - she didn’t early on, and it’s one of the many things people criticized her for. I mean, if she was REALLY talented, she’d be able to dance, too, right? 🙄 (Because you know, we see Eminem dancing so often….) So this album came after a bunch of crap with the media and Kanye/Kim going after her, kinda culminating in “Taylor Swift is canceled.” She couldn’t be that nice, that surprised she kept winning awards, she was too pretty, too calculated, too scheming… in fact, if you watch the beginning of the Reputation tour, you can see a lot of it because she played it for the crowd every night as the show started. Anyhow, after a while, Taylor decided that the person everyone was talking about sounded pretty awesome. So she learned to dance, stopped dealing with the media or paparazzi, and emerged a year later with the album. And she did no media or press for the album. Her response was “there will be no explanation just reputation.” Hope that gives you some context for the songs on Reputation, as well!
Tay just got back from Bey's London concert. Taylor Swift can dance her a** off and so can her dancers as you can see. Her vocal range is not the greatest but her main songwriter Jack Antonoff helps her out with that when she needs him to. Glad you're here to hook up with possibly the #1 Country/Pop star on the music scene today.

Bestie, she’s a worldwide superstar - everyone knows who she is! For a bit of insight, for the Europe Eras tour dates over 8 million people registered for access to tickets… barely any of those got access at all. Ticketmaster and AXS had to put a bunch of unique processes into place so swifties didn’t break the sites trying to buy tickets!
