The Album is Reputation - the most recommended songs for the next two will likely be "I did something bad" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FvwtMwwV25Q.html and "Dont Blame me" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AxjockfZc7g.html - These are from the same album and tour...both AMAZING! There is a documentary called "Miss Americana" about Taylor, which I think is on Netflix. Loved the reaction, enjoy the rabbit hole, This woman hits all genre's and smashes the all !! I'm looking forward to you adding a song of hers to each of your playlists ;)
Those are definitely must -listens! If you want to see a different side, Vigilante Shit from her current Eras tour is beyond fire. You will need cold water.
The era around that time I’d agree with you. She really found something interesting. But a lot of stuff before and after this reputation era I’m not so impressed with. Every now and then she puts out one like vigilante shit that still sounds like reputation style and I dig that
@@wesleyb1458 I thought Reputation was her best work... then realized I felt that way because that was the genre of music I preferred. And as I listened to more, concluded Reputation was definitely not her best WRITING, just the most fun! But that's just my opinion.
@@ChristinaRoDyk gotta disagree with ya. She does some things more creatively musically especially when she performs them live. Some more mature note selections more interesting chord progressions. And then live she lets the songs breathe and have moments with more dynamics. It’s not as cookie cutter to my ear coming from someone that doesn’t listen to pop music or hip hop or country at all but my wife is obsessed with Taylor Swift which drives me crazy. all of this is just my opinion also of course
@@wesleyb1458 I agree, the live performances are typically way better than what I've heard from her albums. With that said, I haven't listened to every album or watched every live performance. So I'm curious now, what's your preference in music?
This is off the Reputation album. This is the first album she came out with after the Kanye West/Kim K debacle. She invited all the people that talked trash about her in the intro to the concert. She is savage!!!
This is from the Reputation album. "End Game ", "Look What You Made Me Do", "Don't Blame Me", and "I Did Something Bad" are other great songs from this concert. Vigilante Shit is good, too.
Now THIS is how you do a reaction. I love that you’re a newbie to Tay because it makes your flabbergasted facial expressions even more enjoyable to watch. You’re so right. Taylor IS tough! If you posted a reaction video to the Miss Americana documentary, I’d eat that up! You earned a sub from me today ❤
I never get tired of watching this performance. She wins people over if they truly give her a chance. Check out Don’t Blame Me and I Did Something Bad - live from the Reputation Tour. So good.
All those reporters who you heard in the beginning were invited to sit front row at this show. She invited them simply to tell them about themselves. Drake called her gangsta, and it's true. You should watch the video for End Game -TSwift with Future and Ed Sheeran.
Welcome to the rabbit hole…..Taylor is an amazing performer, singer, songwriter, and director of her videos. Me and my daughter have been fans ever since Taylor started at 14. Her song writing has evolved as she’s aged and she has covered from country, pop, rock, rap, and I don’t even know what category to put her new album in….it’s a masterpiece by putting poetry and story telling to music.❤❤❤❤
Her current tour is called the "Era's Tour". A complete catalog of all of her albums. Everything from County, to Pop, to Folklore, to Reputation and so on and so on... She writes ALL her own music, lyrics, plays multiple instruments. She is a badass and anyone who says otherwise is full of crap.
Not only was she the youngest to win album of the year at that time but she has now won it 4 times, more than any other artist in history. She is a fantastic song writer and performer. Reputation album was her dis to the press for all the terrible false things they say about her. She didn’t do any interview or promos for this album and it was the second best selling album of the year. You should check out her Bad Blood video if you like Kendrick Lamar.
I'm impressed by your sound. And ability to go back without the big choppy stop and start. Nice job. I love this rection too. I'll be checkin in on your videos. Thanks
Thank you for the great reaction to this live Taylor performance. I'm happy that you are enjoying Taylor. She is amazing. I look forward to more of your Taylor reactions.
I always appreciate when hip hop / rapper enthusiasts start reacting. The more you pay attention to her lyrics, the increased likelihood you notice that she's got bars.
Great reaction! And oh lordy, hope you got time to get really busy. 😀 You've got a date with Dont Blame Me just waiting for your jaw to drop some more. Right now you're on the edge of the rabbit hole.
Taylor is truly so versatile and really hits so many genres. Reputation is my favorite - don’t blame me, I did something bad, getaway car. I’d say vigilante sh!t is another (midnights is my second fave). Keep exploring! I seen her on her Red tour with Ed Sheeran
I saw Taylor last year for the first time, in Minneapolis, for the Eras Tour. I was row 9, and it was the most amazing show I’ve ever seen, by far. She is such an amazing, and dedicated performer, and it shows at every show! I scored tickets for Indianapolis in November, and can’t believe I get to see TTPD!!!
Miss Americana is her documentary, I think it is on Disney right now. She also has the Long Pond Sessions which go into her Folklore album that she wrote during Covid and surprised released (her label wasn’t even aware until like a week before release)
Tay is a huge fan of hip-hop actually which I love. There's clips of her rapping to Eminem songs and I think I saw a clip of her rapping Kendrick, so I'm sure having Kendrick on bad blood was a full circle moment for her. I also LOVE that she's one of the few artists that genuinely gets excited about other people's music. She's always the first to stand up and celebrate with people at award shows and what not. That's why I think she deserves the massive following she has because she wants to see other people winning and getting their moment.
Also forgot to say, I was AT this tour (I went to the London, UK show at Wembley Stadium) and it was INSANE. Literally jaw-dropping. I recommend you react to the whole Reputation concert film (this was just the opening song), and the rest of the show is definitely worth checking out 🙂
oh man i can wait for you to hear this whole album. Taylor was my first ever favorite artist as a kid (when it was just her first two albums), but as i got older i rejected her and hated on her because i was young and dumb and ~alternative~. but now that ive found my swiftyness again i think reputation has become my favorite of her albums.
She has a live band, the same one for 17 years. She writes, EVERYTHING, she sings. Crazy pen game. Rappers have said they would be scared if she started writing rap music! 😳 She writes bars on accident! 😂 She can do any genre. She writes all of her stuff. When she collabs, it's usually with, ONLY, 2 other people. They're the composers. ALBUM IS: REPUTATION
After hiding out she dropped this album Reputation. But because Kanye and Kim Stan’s rode the hate train it didn’t get the love it deserved. She forced herself to learn to dance for this tour because people used to make fun of her dancing. This was her come back after going off the grid for yrs! It was the first time we saw her in five yrs and everyone was 😮😮😮! One of the best concerts I ever saw. The songs and the energy! Highly recommend you check out bad blood featuring Kendrick and End game featuring ed Sheeran and Future
Couple pieces of background info… she started as a professional songwriter in Nashville at 14. She plays the 6 and 12 string acoustic guitar, the electric guitar, the banjo and the piano. She writes all her own songs and is often highly involved on the production side. The stories and visuals for her music videos come from her ideas. She’s written albums in several different styles, including country-pop, synth pop and Indie-folk-pop. Here’s a fan favorite performance of the song Don’t Blame Me from the Reputation Tour: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AxjockfZc7g.html&pp=ygUfZG9uJ3QgYmxhbWUgbWUgcmVwdXRhdGlvbiB0b3VyIA%3D%3D
Swiftie since ‘Our Song’ and lucky to have seen her on the Eras Tour in Pittsburgh night 2. Best day ever!! Taylor amazes me! And the Swifties are such a great community to be part of!! 🫶
this is from the REPUTATION album which is going to be her next rerecorded album drop!!! with new vault tracks. Highly anticipated. It's droppin sometime this year!
Great great reaction! I would agree with others to react to Don’t Blame Me as well as I Did Something both from the Live Reputation Tour! They are 🔥! Also check out her video Of End Game with Future and Ed Sheeran. I think you will love it as well!
Documentary - Miss Americana. I believe it’s still on Netflix. You will never at this point in time get a better picture of who she is. Really hope you watch it. Would be a great reaction video as well.
Glad you chose this your 2nd song! Most ppl send you to her sappy songs only. This is Reputation album. This and Midnights album are her best IMO. You gotta review "BAD BLOOD" featuring K. LAMAR next ....MV has over 1 Billion views.
I honestly felt like the Reputation album was a rebirth. She came out giving no effs. If you can find the documentary Miss Americana it was interesting to see why she came out so tough.
