Yes it was a Jackson V bass solo. Lots of bassists use that as a solo. That's how awesome Jermaine was--and he was young when they made up that song. Taylor Swift is talented. She writes most of her songs. There are plenty of great singers but not many can combine good singing with good song-writing. Her demograph feel a connection because she's singing what she wrote--singing from the heart.

I love Taylor Swift, and I think she's really pretty good live. The only thing I'll say against her is that it sounds really weird with the background singers. Because in her records she's her on background singer... Obviously you can't do that live. Idk.
