Plus the simple fact that this documentary was even made and the truth is coming out shows that the strangle hold that Taylor has is no more because no way this would have come out in the past. People are waking up to the truth about Taylor more and more about who she truly is. That she is nothing more then a narcissist who cares more about herself who uses young teenagers emotions to fight her own battles because she is too weak to fight for herself. That she uses money to buy good will press. Using donations during trauma and tragedy to make herself look bad but also make it all about her instead of the victims. How she is in getting into her late 30s and hasn’t been able to keep a man and gone through dozens of relationships yet for many of them they have moved on and yet she hasn’t been able to move on and find her own happily ever after. Even her current boyfriend will end up either becoming too big for her that they end up breaking up as well. Can’t have a singing career based off failed relationships if you don’t keep having failed relationships…what will she ever have too sing about then? Sorry but you people thinking she cares about you in anyway is the sad ones. Going online and destroying people’s lives to the extent that you target children and have to make them go into hiding shows who you are as people and who Taylor herself is because even she knew that was happening and did nothing to stop it yet knowing the truth of the situation. Sorry not sorry.

Taylor and her dad are masterminds behind her brand and they always have a long game that no one else sees until after the fact. They literally acted like she was just a girl who grew up on a small farm and got bullied so she has always had a victim narrative. In reality they had a huge Xmas tree farm and her dad made a lot of money and bought into the label that she signed to. I think she’s probably very manipulative when she wants something but is probably very sweet and nice otherwise.

The reality is that there’s not much to say about Taylor, so people cling to whatever they can to make her look bad. Is she perfect? 100% not. If the internet was a place to have a constructive healthy debate, I could name quite a few things I don’t agree with when it comes to Taylor’s actions. But while she’s been very lucky and privileged to have supportive parents who had the money to invest in her, she is far from being the most privileged out there. We are overflowed by nepo babies right now who not only grew up rich (not Christmas tree farm rich, superstars parents rich) but also grew up in the industry they ended up pursuing a career in, with all the right exposure and connections to make it. I don’t hear nearly as much complaining about them as I hear about Taylor. And honestly, even then, privilege cuts both ways. You don’t chose where you’re born. You do what you can with what you have, either way. Taylor and her parents and her team turned a £10000 investment into billions. I don’t know many people who could do that.

But that doesn't change that she had a chance to buy them from him. If a label owns your masters, and is getting sold, a new label will own it. She publicly stated she had no idea previously that would happen, which was a lie, and that she had no chance of getting her masters which was also a lie. And on the subject of lies, the reason she was and remains so angry at Kim K is because her recording exposed that Taylor had completely and totally lied about that whole situation. It was the most obvious exposure of her behaviour up to that point, and nearly ruined her crafted, marketed image. Hating Scooter Braun is fine - pretending he wasn't just doing a standard business deal and she was somehow uniquely targeted with the masters situation is not.

@@mikekl520 First of all, a majority of the OG songs were mixed better than Taylor’s Version. It’s especially apparent w the Max Martin songs. No one can do it like him. Imo the best thing that came out of TV are the vault tracks-some of which are now amongst my favorite of her discography. Taylor’s Version is successful bc she’s Taylor Swift & she has a fan base that will literally support anything she does & call it genius whether it’s warranted or not. Secondly, I never said she didn’t have a right to call out her bullies. I never said Kanye & co didn’t do her dirty. I know this because my mom’s best friend was Scott Borchetta’s long time assistant at that time. They didn't let her sing and release a record so she left the label and started performing at bars and cafe, streets at 14-15. Scott borchetta then discovered her at bluebird cafe. He was starting his own label and had already signed an artist before Taylor. There is no one that can touch The Beatles . Their music has been covered for the past sixty years ,and will go down in history for their melodies,harmonies,lyrics,production, and musicality on their instruments. That as well as the one producer that understood these four eccentrics from Liverpool. I’m quite sure Taylor will pass Paul in terms of wealth through her shrewd marketing . Paul’s worth over a billion pounds is. Possibly $1,200,000.00 . Taylor is on a trajectory of passing Paul. Taylors songs are pop pablum for the younger set ie. twelve to sixteen or possibly eighteen year olds. They will be real grown ups in twenty years. They won’t be listening to Taylor. By that time they like many other young adults now will be listening to Rubber Soul,Revolver,Sgt.Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, White Album, Let It Be, and their magnum opus Abbey Road. That’s not even including the singles which is another album altogether. I’m NOT knocking young people for loving Taylor, in fact I applaud Taylor for giving these mostly young girls something that makes them happy, and something they feel they can relate to.
