@@karynsnake7352 Maybe she'll make 2 versions, one pop that is for radio and an original version like this one but as Taylor's version of course! i think she'll do it... because shes in control of her OWN music now, she can make this old version into something amazing! I can't wait to hear it no matter what she decides to do with this song. :D

This is the best version. Nothing beats the original. Reminds me of my high school days. Taylor's first two albums were the soundtrack of my youth.

For me, this version is sadder than the radio single remix because of the instrumental from 2:14 - 2:34. 😭 I still absolutely adore both versions, by the way. 😁 Plus, this song is really good and thank you so much for uploading this version! I prefer the classic original country one than the pop version. Sadly, the old country version wasn't here on spotify , and it wasn't hear anymore. How sad. I prefer the original country one than the pop album version of this.

Ikr it’s not available anywhere. It’s the version I first heard and made me a Taylor fan back in 2006. We can only hope we get a Taylor’s Version that’s closer to this version.

This version was released in the US in 2006 on the original debut album. Later 2007 and 2008 versions include the "censored" Radio Single Version used in the music video which is also a few seconds shorter (3.23) due to a different instrumental.

It's beautiful but i understand why they changed it for the single version, the original doesn't have as much of a "punch" if you will, it's not as radio-friendly. I'm not sure it would've done well as a single as it was released like this.
