I don't know how old you are but, I am in my 60s. Taylor is dressed no different then many dancers were in our era. And her so called prancing is much tamer then the dances we did as teens. Maybe you should revisit your days as a teen and young adult. Taylor is very tame. she wears a bodysuit no different then the gymnasts of our Olympic team. And she has boots over the knees. She is showing less than we did during our mini skirt days in the 60s and 70s. And remember the tops we wore in the 70s? My goodness I feel you are forgetting things from the times we were young. I have not forgotten and feel in many ways today is much tamer then when we were young. It is just you have forgotten. I hope I don't have to remind you of the music we listened to. I was 11 when White Rabbit came out by Jefferson Airplane and I remember hearing it. I grew up listening to rock since the days of the Beatles and I was 6. My parents did not shield me or censor me and my brother. I was also 11 when a song came on the radio in my city (which happened to be Kansas City since I grew up there until high school when my dad got transferred) and on the radio, top 40, came the song Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. Remember that? When I was 16/17 I was a true Zep head and owned all their albums. I still love them. Taylor's music is just pop. Not risky. Nor obscene. You must revisit your youth. Don't just let yourself be old and forget the fun and folly and laughter of youth.

It 's ok if if she is not your thing, but she is an incredible songwriter and that is being said by other great songwriter like Bruce Springsteen. You can not like her music but still respect her songwriting talent . Lots of people relate to her lyrics , it is ok if you are not one of them but it doesn't make other who like her " dumb" or " boring". I don't like hip hop, I found it repetitive but I would not put hip hop fans down just because I don't like that type of music.
