How is it that the best lyrics got taken out of this song and every song on her debut album? There was a lot of depth to the original lyrics. This is why I think speak now was the best era. She got to see what it was like to write songs without people telling her what to cut out and what needs to be altered. She had complete control over it all.

Whenever you think Taylor is edgey or has changed, please listen to her new song New Year's Day. Some of you people might've been missing Taylor's "old" style since 1989 came out, and it's okay to miss a style from Taylor you grew up with but please don't think that your childhood is ruined or that Taylor has changed because she has not changed in character, nothing about her has changed expect her music style and lyrics . Even though many artists have changed their style and grown up , Taylor hasn't because she has always changed styles if anyone who's reading this who is a long time Taylor Swift fan should know this. Just because in her most recent song Look What You Made Me Do she says "the old Taylor is dead" doesn't really mean that country Taylor is dead, she just said that to get Kanye to understand what they made "her do" . I was that one person who was honestly disappointed when 1989 came out. I never blamed her tho. Just askin "why the hell would she turn to mainstream pop☹️☹️☹️" back then. It's 100% understandable for her to change her style from one era to another era bcs she needs it for her own survival in the industry. Now, who would've thought that we will get the rerecorded version of her 6 first albums including Taylor's country eras. I'm most excited for her Debut (Taylor's Version) bcs i'm really curious as to how she will rerecord this album bcs her voice, as far as i could say, is very different now. And which vault tracks will she put in Debut (TV)?
