@@ricklee5845 without showing the moment of injury, it makes it look like Taylor is jut not trying. She has wonderful hand skills, as is demonstrated in her doubles success. People can focus more on the positives than the criticisms of her.

She needs more on serve, and more use of wide slice on ad court, and to stop lazily positioning with head lift on wider forehands. Even when Serena was well overweight, their were few balls she didn't reach, nor run out of puff. It's mostly about perception and knowing patterns of the game.

Grunting doesn't bother me, players have grunted for decades now, but then again I watch more of the men's tour so I'm used to it.

Interesting how anti-grunters only complain about the women, even though there are a lot of players on the men's tour that grunt. I rarely ever see anybody complaining in the comment section like I do on the women's tour. Seems like there's a double standard there.

Brenda Fruhvirtva is a top 100 player at 17 years old and a future star. What are u talking about? This is exactly what they need to do. Promote the future stars that will carry the WTA torch for many years.
