Played my first round with it the other day, and all I can say is WOW this Driver is phenomenal, I purchased the 11.5 positioned the heavy weight forward, and Boom it feels and looks incredible, I hit every required fairway without any loss in distance, this thing is a weapon, couldn’t be happier
@@shaunkelley55 of course that leads to another question. Who doesn't want more piercing ball flight and further distance? So why not have the weight forward from the get go?
Moving the weight forward reduces spin and that usually makes the club less forgiving. I have the 11.5* adjusted down to 10* and I have left the weight in the back because I like the forgiveness.
If it’s the one I’m thinking of I have one of those as well in my 90s set it’s a Mizuno 14° 1 iron driving iron. thing is an absolute rocket for short par 4s and keeping on the planet in high wind conditions
I just happened to be in Drummond golf in Australia last week and they just got 2 of these in. I hit it and bought it 20 mins later. Didn’t know about all the hype or seen any reviews. I have now played 4 rounds and it did take me a while to get the tee height right (1 finger if you are wondering) but the 4th round I played its dialed. I hit every fairway. I was hitting 195-210 mtrs. (We do metres in Australia). For comparison I hit my g430 max about 220-235. But I tend to spray the g430. This 2 wood mini driver could well change the way I play. Middle of the fairway at 200 is way better than 220 in the right rough. I don’t understand why it’s a fairway finder. It just is. Now just make a driver the same.
OK, nice club, but how come no one will compare it to an original (i.e. sowhatsthe diff.....??). BTW - I note that a used original club starts at about $20 USD and goes up to about $85. So is a new one worth the diff?? Hmmmm...
How do you tee this thing up? Very low like a 3 wood, or higher like a driver? Is ball placement forward like a driver or a little more left of center like a 3 wood?
Put a shorter shaft in your driver. It's incredible, people would pay $599 canadian for this LOL. Learn how to hit the 3 wood better....or better yet....put a shorter shaft in.....the 3 wood. Unreal lol
I am loving mine, although only a couple of range sessions on it so far. First on course test in a couple of days. For some reason, it doesn't go nearly as far as yours, but does go straighter.
I seriously need to try this thing. I love my cobra driver but this thing could seriously be a weapon if I get it in its lowest lofted option and loft it down more with the loft sleeve it becomes a driver that I can potentially hit off the deck which is something I actually enjoy about old-school smaller headed drivers it’s still not an easy thing to do but it’s way more of a potential shot option for me with a small driver head that has that bigger fairway wood look and feel. Persimmon era drivers are really fun to do this with
Bro you can hit your driver off the deck. If you can’t forget trying to hit these off the deck. Sort your swing then driver off the deck is in play no matter what driver you’re playing
I would buy one of these if any of the shops I stop by had a lefty for me to try first!!! Almost nothing is available for lefties to demo! Please pass this on to the manufacturers!
Have reviewers been ordered not to talk or compare this year's mini driver to last year's? Nobody on youtube mentions last year's n I find it odd. They're so similar. Maybe that's why... 🤔
I’m not “ordered” to do anything! I’m the boss 👌 I could gain 10 yards/ lose 10 yards in a comparison and it would mean absolutely nothing to anyone else because they will have different results.
@alexetchesgolf I enjoy your reviews. They're always entertaining. I've just been watching other reviews and nobody refers to the previous one. Just thought it was odd
