I cannot express how much i appreciate Taz bro. Endless inspiration from this man he’s helped me and so many of us w so many things in and outside of the studio
Absolutely filled with tons of amazing gems. We need more people being able to be open and real, being able to express the struggles and challenges they had to overcome. It's deeper than the story of how you got your placement, everyone has their own path, journey, and timeline. Being open about your perspective and your struggle is MASSIVELY valuable and insightful to people in and out of music.
Facts, I like the total switch in this interview. Nobody wanna hear the same” I sent this beat to somebody.” Taz Taylor mindset really set the tone for me and I like how the host let him express himself 🔥
26:40 I remember in an old interview with Taz that he was paying for his mom’s chemo when he was 18 through beats and I remember being an instant fan of this guy
Taz Taylor is the realest, most of people on top of the music industry would never talk about the stuff he just said. Great interview, probably one of the most interesting I've ever watched!
First time Taz Taylor really goes deep into his early days. Really an inspirational guy... He always says what's on his mind, he don't give a fuck that's why he's where he's @
Bro dropped out in 7th grade, and he's smarter and far more wealthy than 95% of the ppl I know that went to college.. one of my favorite interviews hands down 💯🙏🏼👊🏼☝🏼
Now compare him to those who didn’t go to college, and you’ll find he’s even wealthier and smarter (the lower the educational level, the lower the IQ) than them.
Taz is one of those industry people that’s harsh but true about how the music business works which I can respect because a lot of big producers try to sugar coat it and make it seem like anyone can make it.
Wow you guys been on a streak lately. Saw this and watched it immediately. Roller coaster of emotions. Been rocking with TT and IM for years, part of my development as a producer from Twitter to RU-vid to Now. The Growth has been just inevitable man, and Taz is one of the most misunderstood in this industry, and you guys really just let him rock and let people know how and when and where and why. One of the best interviews you guys have done man.
If Taz can see this comment Just know we appreciate you bro and thank you for not sugar coating nothing and just staying authentic 🙏🏿 I pray for you and your family This was the best interview I have saw so far this year Shout to producergrind for this 🔥
This for real one of the best interviews I’ve seen, cool mix of that serious shit with some funny moments and it was more of a conversation than the usual questions interviewers will ask
1:20:00 I can relate to TB Digital. If I first meet people I'm really quiet until after a bit of opening up and spending more time with people. I use to be a lot worse with that but the military opened me up much more to actually speak or interact when amongst people rather than in the past growing up I would just sit there and just be another person in the room until someone spoke specifically to me.
dam , this one of my favorite interviews so far dawg . felt like he wanted to say more than he was allowed haha . Inspirational and Informational , fashoo
Great inteview, It was different and refreshing. TB said something thought that I assumed for a while. TB said when an interviewer is speaking he's thinking of the next question. It feels like that in previous episodes not so much recently tho. It feels almost like you don't really care about what they just said and that you have a checklist of things you just want to accomplish instead of focusing on having the most engaging conversation with the person in front of you. Mimi kinda did this at the start where Taz said he' can't read music and can hardly even read and yall just skipped over that untill he reitterated himself. Overall tho great work. Keep up the content.
I'm so glad y'all interviewed Taz. I remember the whole 9th Wonder issue, and knew about him since 2016-2017. It is so crazy to watch how the whole Type Beat wave has played out. They helped create a standard, so Internet Money was onto something well before it was accepted.
Taz built different ! Love his mindset and focus. bro is relentless with the grind. the real forefront of the lane producers like myself were built from. thanks for the inspiration my g. Florida boys ! ✨🙌🏾
I’m currently watching this interview in class.. I just wanna say thank you Taz & to the ProducerGrind hosts! Gained so much jems, inspiration and confidence from this. I’m gon have a song with Internet Money one day 💯
damn bro i felt like i have been becoming stagnant not only in producing but with goals i'm tryna reach in life in general. for some reason hearing what taz had to say really motivated me to go harder this year. we up 2023
Loved this interview.. I always saw something in Taz man.. His accomplishments, and demeanor.. makes much sense now. This kid is smart man.. I appreciate him doing the interview. Internet Money 💰. Respect.
I’ll never forget when taz pulled up my whole name and info one night in a chat room lol 👨🏼💻 Homie cool is asf tho and a hard worker he change the game fasho salute to him!
I used to talk with taz regularly, taz always told me my beats is trash, i need to listen to more mainstream artists an emulate, also said i was sleepin not selling beats on youtube, this was like 2015, i was hard headed like nah i got connections, imma get industry placements, i did come close but he was right if i focused on youtube an making more mainstream beats id probably be signed to internet money now. used to talk with mjnichols an mike hector too
im not mad at how shit turned out tho, im working with rly dope artists rn, making the music i enjoy, making money from grad school an my side job, now i got options as a musician or programmer or whatever
I´m always like Taz, saying things outloud and i sometimes scare people, but i´m so chill right now knowing he does this thing too, you better dont know how his brain works...no rest, does not stop.
Say what you want about bro, whether you share his same viewpoints or not, you HAVE TO RESPECT this dude. He used his own name to put his fellow producers in positions where they can create records that will take care of them the rest of their lives 💰. Even down to the vulnerability at the end of the interview where he speaks about the love for his family and watching them grow. His selflessness has not only put producers on around him , but it has also inspired a whole generation of creators 🥁🙏🏼
Bro it’s crazy man this interview is so wild for me because I’m 32 and I was saw that journey of taz and now he on top fr. At that time when he started I was seeing his grind and I always wanted to do all that as well but never did it 🫤 but man I’m happy for taz bro. Not only that bro he a real ass dude fr bro. Im glad this industry has a real one like him real Shit. I’ll see you up there soon fam!
Same here, I remember bro when he was vlogging, then bought a house in FL, then he moved to Cali to expand Internet Money. Him and Superstar O were living the conspiracy life of a Type Beat producer lol.
GREAT INTERVIEW TAZ IS AMAZING AND GENUINE WHAT HE IS SAYING IS TRUE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING WITH VALUE AND THAT CAN HELP OTHERS ! HE MOVTIVATING ME TO GET BACK ON MY GRIND ! REALLY APPRECIATE THIS INTERVIEW ! I GUESS ITS TIME TO TAP IN TO CREATIVE FLOW !
I can relate to a lot of the shxt he saying fr💯💯💯 Taz a real one & he wanna say a whole lot more. I wanna have a conversation with bro one day. He’s very aware & hella wise
That’s crazy I attended an online course at Full Sail University thought I was going for engineering to sharpen my skills and ended becoming a producer by accident.. besides being an artist singer songwriter plus engineer… now I’m the total package a 100 percenter…😂🤣😭 I appreciate TAZ’s story just when you think your situation is bad someone else’s is worst 💯💪🏾🙏🏾
Shout out to Nick!!! An inspiration and just a mastermind to creating beats. Representing for Virginia!!! Much love much respect to nick mira and Taz!!!!
