correction: nfl network used to do these specials. they also did one on the san diego charger cheerleaders and various other cheer squads WAY before it became a series on CMT. So no, they are not copying the DCC, the original series focused each season on a different squad. When CmT picked the series up again after nfl network stopped doing it, they chose to keep it focused only on dcc
@35:12 when she talks about naming the choreography that's really helpful and kinda how I do it! I didn't learn to dance with 8 counts I just make up names for the steps too!
I love the black chick with the buzzcut but we all know cheerleading squads don't care about good dancing and facials if u ain't got whi pepo hair to whip everywhere for no reason
This must be one of the last ones NFL Network made or they must have filmed these concurrently among the teams. The first season for DCC was for the 2006/2007 season. TBBC is also for the same season as it shows prelims were on 04/01/2006.
I miss the days when I looked up to the women who were naturally sexy, cared about their looks in a natural way-not plastic surgery and didn't feel the need to pose topless or with a few necklaces covering their "girls." There is class and there is smut!
+Flower Power actually ESPN used to do Making the Team specials and focus on a different cheerleading team every season. This was WAY before CMT picked up the series. ESPN did the bus, the chargers, cowboys, and i think one more other nfl cheer team. This was back in like 2004. so technically cmt copied ESPNs tv model
this was made in april 2006. by the NFL network. the CMT series wasn't made until november 2006. also this show "making the squad" actually featured DCC, miami dolphins, tampa bay, and san diego. all before CMT started their series and changed the name from "making the squad" to "making the team". i thought it was actually really cool to see how all the other teams did their processes. DCC obviously runs the tightest ship and is the most organized but thats also because their organization actually gives them the budget to be.
