I like how you get right into the rotation and then show the rotation on a boss. Enh shaman topping the charts. Massive bro. Thanks for going into the talents and the stat but at the end was really Informative. Let’s go dude.
@@blin5033 Curb your enthusiasm little man, no need to call me names. I never said it wasn't quick and straight to the point. It just doesn't have "all the shit" like you said. Ouro did a "quick and easy" video on it, it doesn't have to be "in depth".
Tbh enh shamans have a wider rotation than most closes. Usually it’s spam 1 button and click 2 every 30 seconds lol makes enh seem very fun in comparison. Nice vid :)
Thank you for that Guide :) for me as a absolute beginner cool :) is there for example a video about the weapons/eqip during the exp to the 70? or where to find/buy it? again thank you so much :)
Going deep into the Elemental tree is nice for Your personal dps, with the +9% Crit buff from the 15point req section. And the 15 points prior it takes to get there, all go into great talents like reduced shocks CD plus -10% reduced shocks mana cost (imo >) or +5% dmg from shocks. The former option offsetting the mana-cost of totem-twisting a little without the -25% cost reduction from the Resto tree. And I would go with that over the Resto talents IF Not raiding Enhance MS with a guild. But the 18 full points into the Ele tree is hard to spare from the Enh tree, which you will have to drop ImpWepTotems from because of priotitising Self-buffs over Raid-buffs, for a Pug/performance build. And Ghost Wolf. But passing the 15/20/25pt mark down the Enh tree requires a couple of less valued talents spent into, if saving for the 17/18point Ele-tree build. Totem-twisting in this build is very mana-burning, so you have to twist conservatively, as close to the 10sec buff drop off as possible. (WF totem refreshes every 5s btw.) And then regenerating with Shamanic Rage when totally /oom. But, you will go /oom again before SR is back up =/ and have to pop a mana potion to get you through the next 30/40seconds of the CD. - This is bad and makes this build unviable for regular team raiding. And the Hit Rating from in the Resto tree is painful not having. But the rest of the Resto talents undermine your own DPS in favour of your party's. - That's why it's only worth taking this path if your party is not worth the sacrifice of your parse.
Nice vid man, so far for my 25 man, our grp2 is gonna be a Enhance, feral and 3 hunters. Do you think speccing into resto for the totem range is still worth? Or can i pick up decent dmg increase from going more into ele tree?
So it looks like you won't be totem twisting huh... I'm jealous xD Hmmm you could definitely look at going into the elemental tree, but missing out on the 3% hit from the resto tree could be brutal. You are in the position to look into the ele tree though - the reduced cooldown of shock is very nice, increased damage, and fire totem damage. I'd try it out and see how it feels :)
Thanks Sam! Hmm... I can't really say because I'd have to look into it a little bit. Possibly putting points down into Nature's Guidance rather than Shamanistic Rage might be worth it?? I'll take a look and get back to you at some point
Hey! I am a little bit confused when it comes to the hit rating. I used to play Rogue when hit rating was the most important stat. I just hit 70 with my Shaman, so far in my blues and greens I have around 21% hit rating (including talents) and around 20% crit chance unbuffed. So what you are saying is that I shouldn't prioritize hit rating and instead focus more on crit chance? I always think that way --> if I don't have hit rating then I will crit less, I will white hit less, I will proce WF less (because I don't hit the target). Based on your experience and analysis can you help here?
I've been learning enhancement if someone can help me out. I thought that only one enchant can affect a weapon at a time so if you enchant your weapon then it shouldn't be able to receive windfurry totems buff, right? Cause the buff doesn't show up unless I remove the enchant from my main hand.
I've spent a lot of time looking in to that - different people are saying different things. Some people are pulling similar dps with synced/unsynced weapons, sometimes more with the staggered over the synced, and sometimes vice versa. I'll look into making a guide on it, but it is a bit of a complex subject so I would like to know more about it before putting a video out there :D
@@BRETTY Very nice! Yeah, complex idd. I get overwhelmed from all the information on the discord regarding this subject. I know it seems alot more complex than it probably is in action, that's why I think it would be nice with a video of someone talking about it to make it abit easier for people to understand. Thanks for your reply! Keep up the good work :)
I’m maining an enhance orc shaman for tbc. Looking to craft either planar edge or dragonmaw. Torn between the two though :/ any advice which one I should create?
Yes it is worth twisting searing totem and nova totem, if that is what you’re asking. As long as you can manage it without going oom, not screw up twisting your wf/agi totem, and clipping your abilities as they come off cool down.
Twisting nova in with searing is huge if even 2 targets, but still worth it with one target if you can sustain the mana. It does fit into the rotation well but it is one more thing to juggle. Bretty would be curious your opinion on why this isn’t brought up in guides almost ever, though I see most high end shaman doing this.
hey man, awesome video. i will be maining enh in BC and your vid was just what i was looking for, now the only thing i wanted to ask was about you going axes, is the dragon mace not going to be the BiS from BSing for enh?
is improved ghost wolf needed? iirc its only usable outdoors making it useless in instances, maybe put those 2 points into improved stoneskin totem? what u think
The Stat Priority guide doesn't account for Blessing of Kings, correct? So we should multiply Strength and Agi by 1.1 (+10%) before accounting for these stat weights. Am I understanding that correctly?
Nide video mate, just few thing about the talent . Have u tried to see how much proc u get from elemental focus plus elemental devastation? I'm gonna try this build enchanc with elemental tree and nothing in resto.
Great Job man, i have a couple of questions regarding enhancements , Is Blacksmithing still worth it even tho it is really hard to find 2.7 OH? how much dps do you lose when you don't have matched speed weapons ? Since u tried it with Reflex Blades , and can you make a video demonstrate pre-bis raid for enhanc?
If you're not already, the shaman discord has a ton of fantastic information on syncing weapons. TLDR is that its about a 3-5% dps increase when you have synced weapons. Basically meaning that your MH + OH is hitting within 0.4 seconds of each other.
Yeah I've heard many different things from many different people - some saying staggered/synced pulls similar dps, sometimes more while staggered and sometimes more while synced. It's a bit of a complex subject. I'll try to find out more soon and get back to you with a for-sure answer. I have a pre-raid bis and a pre-patch video on my channel :)
bretty what proffesions? i know blacksmith for the weapons, also another question is there a good 2h axe we can make from blacksmithing simillar to deep thunder from mace spec
There really is not BiS professions that enhance shamans really need to go. LW is good for either the primalstrike or ebon netherscale set (up to you which you choose). I'll be going BS and mining on launch, then dropping mining for LW at some point.
im confused right now ive played enchanment shaman in vanilla and tbc as i remember there was no dualwild talent in the tree ? and is there a way to play with 2hand now in tbc classic ? im very confused my memories are so different for that what i see in your vids sorry for my bad english ;D
Keep in mind any enhance shaman in the 3xBM+Feral group is not going to be totem twisting. Also, worth simming exactly how much 88 agi to a prot warr, arms warr, ret, and enhance actually gives and balancing that against the dps the enhance loses from less shocks in their rotation as well as the dps loss from not going further down the ele tree, especially from not having those fire totem talents on multi target fights. You will find its actually not crazy impactful if a shaman does or does not totem twist. Is it a little bit better? Sure, but overall a very very small deal.
Great vid! Quick question. Do you want to spawn fire ele totem first and THEN bloodlust to give bloodlust to your fire ele too? Does it work like that?
Nice guide. My problem with the rotation is that I run out of mana quickly with the totem twist although I have the same talents you show. Having a SP in the party would be great for that but its kinda troll
Look into the talent tree. There are talents that make dual wielding better, ss hits with both weapons, on top of which there's a hidden buff that makes wf have a higher chance to proc when you dual wield windfuries (to compensate for the internal 3s cd)
I would recommend just auto-attacking so that you don't do WAY too much damage at once and pull threat - play it safe and keep your eyes on the threat meter :D
@@BRETTY Thanks for the answer. But i meant if there is a reason to AA first? cause wf procc chance is higher then just nukin SS onto enemy? with tbc is the 3s inner cd of wf, but i dunno atm whats better... try to fish wf procc with AA into SS or its wayne cause the cd didn't allow more. If you understand^^ it's jsut nice to know for questing tbc.
Liked the video a lot, but have you done the math on improved weapon totems in the enhancement tree? It is... not good. It only slightly buffs the ap boost of a single attack that is already a proc, its a fraction of a fraction of an AP boost. I know its usually auto-include because hey, its a buff and that's what shamans do... but its honestly horrible and baseline windfury totem already provides 99% of its benefit without it.
I’m selfish I wouldn’t totem twist for no one all I’m doing is dropping wind fury for the group and maybe the occasional tremor , I feel like toughness is so overrated while encounters w/ hamstring or any other slow .
The EP-Value is not right at all and jsut a copy-paste from Elitist-Jerks. Strg 1 = 2 // 2.2 (King Scaling) Hit-Rating falls behind as soon as you have more then 9% Hit. What you get through Talents. + 3% from Boomkin Crit-Rating has a Soft-Cap which is 33.333333333% at 33.34% Crit-Value falls behind. So does Agility. Expertise will be always over 3 (3.2 - 3.4) because our WF / Stormstrike benefit from it. This is really important for Orcs. Why Orcs always! Pick Axes. Haste-Rating has a high Value and is over 1.7-1.8 depending on Haste-Stacking. But it falls really fast behind if you reach a special amount of haste.
Yes, strength = 2.2, which is what it says in the EP sheet. Yes, I know that you get 9% hit from talents which is your soft-cap, and 3% from boomkin. Hit loses value after that, but is not valueless. What does crit having a soft cap have anything to do with this EP sheet? Expertise is MASSIVELY important, as shown in the EP sheet. Haste "falls really fast behind if you reach a special amount of haste". Not quite sure what a "special" amount of haste is. Please don't come here and say that this EP shit "isn't right at all" and then throw some numbers around acting like you know what you're talking about :D
Party members will gain the Windfury buff for 10 seconds, allowing you to immediately place grace of air totem. You would then replace windfury totem for party members after 10 seconds...rinse & repeat.
from what i have looked up i would say BS for the BiS weapons you can make and LWing for drums that people will probably want you to bring, if not i would take JC over LW for your own gems/money making.
I remember from the old days, running flame on the off-hand so I don't mess up the main hand WF which was higher in dps. Does this make any sense or is the WF proc better, no matter the weapon that procs it?
This is the worst. Where is your swingtimer for weap sync to make full Usage of flurry and to make sure your wf proccs on your mainhand? Guy dont listen to him please.
