Bloody hell you guys are everywhere 😅… I swear every time I’m on my travels and google “how to get from X to Y?” a RU-vid blog from you guys pops up ! I’m in Tbilisi at the moment and leave for Yerevan next Friday and can’t find reliable info about how to get there… and then up you pop! Brilliant!! I hope wherever you are in the world that all is well with you both.
That's brilliant to hear Dave. Yep, we're everywhere. Like dog s*#t! 😂😂 I hope this has helped you in some way on your travels there. It's a nice trip to Yerevan. You're going to love Armenia. We really did. There's a few useful videos you might want to watch on our Armenia playlist. 😉 ru-vid.com/group/PLCmNbKU5iMrlnDgjiHpR-2iAg8uuzXjFV&si=-qOtios-7Vf3l2-p
This one was pretty comfy actually compared to a lot of the bigger ones we've been in as they tend to squeeze way too many people in those ones. We had plenty of leg room on this and seats near the front! 😁😁
Great scenery in places, and we were entertained by the passengers telling the driver off... the only time we saw this happen so they must have thought he was pretty bad ... but we thought it was the normal slightly erratic style of Caucasus driving 😂
I was close to doing this in aug2018 but opt for the longer train ride. As much as I like buses in Europe, that mini van seems too small for both the passengers and baggages. Not to mention the loud music. Was it on the entire trip? May I ask why you didn't choose the train?
It was actually far more comfortable than many other marshrutka trips we've had :) We wanted to take the train, but it was still the low season timetable, so it only went every other day... so we had to take the bus. The music wasn't too bad, we had plenty of legroom, and the other passengers soon told the driver off for driving so fast! :)
Hi. We didn't actually get a ticket. We paid the driver when we left Tbilisi, and the marshrutka left on time. We'd been told it was about 6 hours to Yerevan but it took 7 hours in total. More info is on our blog post... 😊 frugaltravellers.com/tbilisi-to-yerevan-by-marshrutka/
