It is not that we have been lucky to arrive just on national holidays, this is repeated here many times a year. Tbilisi is a city with a rich tradition of festivals that reflect its cultural diversity and lively art scene.
Some of the most important and popular festivals in Tbilisi are the International Film Festival, one of the most prominent in Georgia and the Caucasus region. The TIFF presents a selection of national and international films, as well as film-related activities and events.
The Tbilisi Open Air, which is a music festival that attracts thousands of attendees every year. It takes place in a large outdoor space and features performances by national and international artists from various musical genres.
Tbilisi is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, such as the Caucasus Mountains and the Mtkvari River that runs through the city. As for the most popular, Tbilisoba is one of the most beloved festivities in the city, it is celebrated in October and pays homage to the founding of Tbilisi. During the festival, the streets of the Old Town are filled with music, dance, art exhibitions, cultural events and traditional Georgian food stalls.
