I've been watching a lot of these TBR videos these past few days and your TBR is very similar to mine. Love that for us! 😂 First time seeing your videos, too. Edit: While watching, I'm hearing your thoughts on AGGGTM and I feel similarly! I was able to figure out some of the end yet didn't love how it ended. Good to know that it gets better! I might get back into it then.
I also didn't love A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. I did think it was fine, but the main thing I struggled with was suspending my disbelief that a high schooler was able to find out so much about the case while also maintaining a perfect student image. I'm interested to see what you think of book 2, because I'm currently undecided about whether or not to continue.
I would love to see you read Jade City... It's my favorite fantasy trilogy 💚 I started the audiobook for Emily Wilde and I was kind of enjoying but I just felt I needed to put it aside for now and maybe try again with my eyeballs later this summer 🤷🏻♂ After LOVING BRIDE & Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood, I feel I need to try Love Theoretically... I wasn't a fan at all of The Love Hypothesis... So maybe STEM romance isn't for me 🤷🏻♂ Butcher & Blackbird has me quite intrigued 🤗 I NEED you to get to Addie LaRue ASAP... It's PERFECTION 🖤
Loved this video - new subscriber!!! Thought I’d leave some TBR prompts I use for myself here!: Something out of my comfort zone/intimidating Something I’ve been putting off Over 400 pages Under 300 pages New author A book I’m really excited to read Something that’s been on my TBR for agessss Book set before 1950 Part of a series Prettiest cover Just by title! Book that matches my outfit Newest release
I thought maybe you could pick on of your prompts, even if you don't like it but turn it into a treasure hunt. So for example, you picked a book that starts with L and chose Love Theoretically. From that book, let's say the next prompt you get is a purple cover but instead you us the prompt of cover and have to match Love Theoretically instead. And you can choose to read the first, second or third book or keep going until you land on a book you want to read. Or you give yourself a limit of three hunts and you read the third book. I'm just suggesting this so you can reuse your prompts, don't spend extra money but make it a bit more challenging 😄
I love this idea!! I did a book scavenger hunt video a few weeks ago where I followed a bunch of prompts to pick out one book. It’d be interesting to try and use this to pick my whole tbr or a couple of books
I had my cat (daughters idea) pick my book order this month 😂 I put treats on the covers and he pick the following books: The women (finished) Iron Flame Clockwork Angel Raiders of the lost heart Lady of light and shadows Powerless
a potentional prompt (this would take a lil extra time to look up which books u have): a specific award winner, like Bram Stoker award for horror, nebula award for scifi, goodreads choice, etc :)
I'm interested to hear your opinions on Love Theoretically. I did not like The Love Hypothesis, so i was not interested in reading anymore of the authors' books. But this one seems to have a better plot.
I just finished this phenomenal new book of fairy tales entitled Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles - it was phenomenal and I think you'd love it. It would go with the lovely recommendations here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)
Addie LaRue IS my favorite book of all time! It's a slow start but once you hit that 75 pg mark (IMO) it really goes some places. I absolutely adore that book, and I have bought like 10 copies to give out to people. I love love LOVE it! Also the audio book is really good so if you like audios, I highly recommend!
I just finished Addie LaRue last night, totally agree with the slow start but then the bouncing timelines sucked me in and I couldn't get through it fast enough. Loved it!
Where did you get your TBR Cart? I have so many books that won’t fit on my shelf so I need a cart. Also anyone else just let me know where I should get a TBR cart from.
If you enjoyed Red Rising you're going to love Golden Son! Pierce Brown's writing continues to improve greatly throughout the series! It's one of my favorites :)
I’m in the middle of golden son and I love it! It’s so good! I really hope you like it just as much as me! You should also read good girl bad blood! It’s such a good book! That whole series is amazing! I hope you like that book too.
@@MaddysLibrary i can see that😂 don’t want to spoil for others, but I have always been kind of annoyed when that’s all people have to say about red rising🥲
Your tbr cart looks like mine! We have so many of the same ones! Yay ooh and I see the will of the many and the shadow of what was lost in the back those I'm look r forward to I just bought them a few weeks ago.
Girlie, you're not alone in not liking the first book in the Good Girl's Guide to Murder series. I didn't either and then waited a year before reading the second one and absolutely devoured it, it's the best book in the series (imo). Your tbr looks fantastic btw, happy reading! 😊
