@@HelloKatie85 Absolutely no one could have taken that role and performed Deacon like (Chip) A by comment is that he is the master of love scenes and the most passionate kisser I've ever seen on screen. He latches on and stays there..........the passion is palpable!!. I believe he should have groomed the younger guys on that set as to how to make love to a women. Most certainly how to get the most out of a KISS! Just saying.........😚

It’s impossible to see him being such a clown and then picture him as the terrified father he must have been when his daughter was diagnosed with cancer. The commercial he did talking about it and about the marvelous doctor that worked with them to save her was so moving.

2 moments missing from this, in weird newscasters he plays a gondolier who's boat springs a leak.: "Oh so la mio! (looks at Colin) chrome domie....." Let me tell you. Chip is my adult crush!! I have watched Nashville over and over........I am crazy about it. I believe you need to watch Nashville more than 3 times to really get a grip on the characters, story and depth of meaning of the many stories. So many surrounding stories. Everything about it is a masterpiece. The casting was perfect. To have Connie Briton as his main love Rayna was perfection. They really had that connection. How the producers, Directors managed to get a cast as good as this one is mind blowing. Especially with such musical talent as well as an acting ability above & beyond, Was so essential for the success of this Series. ♥

I think half of millennials in 1999 or 2000 started watching this show because Chip looked so much like Jim Carrey back then people stopped why channel flipping just to make sure he didn’t have a new show that people missed. That’s partly how I got to watching the show lol. Chip is definitely the best at coming up with lyrics. The lengths that man will go to rhyme something is just hilarious. You should have included the UK version where Tony was in love with himself & chip rhymed "that mirror might just crack" with "egomaniac."
