marcel chalobah When Warner Music Signed MMG into a Distro deal, they asked Ross to put Pill under his wing for 1 year. Pill got lazy and became his own enemy and he left MMG on his own. Pill fucked up.

He really wasn't signed to MMG, he had a partnership deal with them. Pretty much what Young Thug and Baby have together. Look at it as an endorsement deal with a label to help build your brand. That's not the same as a record deal. He got the BET cypher and and a spot on the MMG album, he was putting in work with his brand and doing music but trying to shake legal woes at the same time. I wouldn't get lazy, he just couldn't give a real radio hit for marketing to the label even though he had the streets on fire. They weren't promoting him right. Just like Stally, Triple C's, the kid from Chicago and others they had. They already had put their focus on Meek and Wale. They fucked around and gave two hits with Ross on it and then gave us the MMG joints. It was pretty much over for everyone from there.
