This was the Leafs I fell in love with. The Pat Quinn, bunch of old but reliable names, always dummying Ottawa in the playoffs, forever knocking on the ECF's door, Leafs. So much fun being a fan back then lol #hopespringseternal

Can we please get Joe Bowen commentating Leafs games again? Hes got such a passion for this hockey club, and with the way the team is going it only seems right to add the excitement he brings to Leaf games back.

That was pure hockey gods on mogilny's side that night cause the leafs never win in Buffalo and they certainly never do it in O.T

Mogilny, Sundin, Nolan, Leetch, Niewendiuk, Roberts, Kaberle, McCabe, - some series veteran talent on that team.

Not to mention Ron Francis with a PPG run after the trade. If that team was health in the playoffs we would have had a real shot. Imagine if we had every player on that team magically in their prime that year, they would have been unstoppable.

our hockey team made cards of us when i was a kid and i have Alexander Mogilny as my favorite player this was 2002/2003 and i was 4 years old, Migilny went on to score 33 goals and 46 assists for Toronto that year :)

It was star loaded. Sundin + Mogilny + Roberts + Tie Domi + Cujo/Belfour. Those were the good ol days.

was there also an 8-9 game that the leafs came back to win against buffalo, possibly with tellqvist, where kaberle or mcabe scored in overtime? if not, maybe i am half remembering this game, i am not sure about the mogliny stuff. that leetch play looked familiar.
