TC Electronic Flashback 2 with MASH 

That reverse mode with the mash is just what I need. Only that feature alone sold me this pedal.

Takes away ping pong from the older pedal, with 2 amps that is the best delay setting. Love the mash setting. That weird wind up sound is novelty, no one will do that often. The instant reverse is cool though

Thanks for the interesting demo - it would've been great though to have heard some experiments with the 'shorter' more 'slappy' delay sounds as well, massive lush atmospheric delays are lovely & very impressive too but sometimes you just want to acheive something snappier with your sound that's a bit subtler & less of a total 'Environmental Takeover' imo for what it's worth. I've come away from this video demo thinking this pedal is only really suited to people who want to acheive an 'outer space vibe' , & maybe it is I dunno.

I was considering the Boss DD-8 which is about 30 dollars more than the Flashback 2 but Im changing my mind . I love the Mash function. Dont need tap tempo but I wish I could store my own created presets instead of being them. Not sure what that is anyway? Ill probubly get the Flashback . Like the 9volt battery option.

Hello,,,a strange question...Do you know if I can use in Stereo but with one dry output, and effect in the other? Are any TC delay that do this?

Torn so much between this and the Canyon, can anyone tell me what settings let you tap tempo passed 800ms? Read somewhere that one or two of the analog settings don't allow you :(

Been debating bt a Supa Puss, Panther Cub, Canyon and this for days.. Gonna have to go w FB2 bc it has reverse delay and the Mash seems intuitive and too cool to pass up. Thanks!

how to dial dotted 8th note delay??can you show your knob?

is it easy to switch between the modes? or you have to take extra steps like with the boss pedals?

Is dynamic mode a hold function, like an ehx freeze?

Does the footswitch still act as a regular latching switch?

how do you set the tempo on this things?

I own this and let me just say so it's here. It is digital and it is true bypass, but. When on even in looper mode (no delay) there is some loss of high end. Its noticeable to my ear but I'm entirely sure the audience can't tell. Especially since everything else about this delay is so playable and fun. The software is a bitch and terrible to use more than once so get your presets tweaked to perfection and never plug it in the USB again, lol. Here's hoping for a version 3

What's the title of the first song?

Just a heads up for people thinking about buying this pedal. As an owner of the original Flashback, I recently bought the Flashback 2 so that I could make use of the external tap tempo jack. However, I was disappointed to hear that the FB2 did NOT sound as good as the FB1, to the extent that I unfortunately had to return the FB2 for a refund. The FB2 is a tad more open sounding, but the repeats are thinner and just weak sounding compared to the FB1. Also, the FB1 creates a subtle and pleasant pad-like sound when the repeats are turned up high, whereas on the FB2 the repeats just 'thin out' without creating any kind of ambient oscillation. NOTE that I set both pedals up exactly the same within the toneprint editor, and even had confirmation from TC Electronic that the circuit was tweaked for the FB2. I was really gutted about this because I was desperate to have an external tap!

What would you recomend? this one or the canyon from ehx? thanks!!
