Well said! Growing up, I was fed a lot of bologna, schools and parents telling me what my path was going to be. None of it felt right and I found myself feeling pretty discouraged and unmotivated. Struggled my way through a few years of college, but decided that I didn't want the debt and I just wasn't really clear on what I wanted to do. I had a few doors open up, and was able to move to a new area and be exposed to different ideas. Started reading a lot of books, and getting my body really physically fit. When I was 25 years old, I was introduced to the concept of writing out a "vision for my life". I see it as a list of my highest values and a guide for me to measure all of my choices by. Throughout the years, I've simplified the wording, but I've always come back to it as a measure for how I am living each day. That was 25 years ago, and I still find myself aligned with every word in it! It's a bit unconventional, and I've spent these years training myself to let go of everything I was taught (that I'm not in alignment with), and focusing on choosing everything I am in alignment with. 2 years after that, I started my first small business (construction). Holding to my vision, I've taken a very slow and steady approach... And for many years my wealth didn't really grow much. In the last 10 years though, I haven't really started to experience the power of compounding and my I will wealth has quadrupled. But more than that, I have a great woman in my life, I like where I live and I see each day as a gift and opportunity to create more of what I am choosing.

Maybe "literature" is the... litter of nature(!), but coming from TC, it's a raucously-blessed "hand" saving you from decay n' doom, loneliness and loss, suicide and extinction. Once again, thanks man!

I turned 40 last month and many of my visions came to fruition. Military, make millions, travel the world, create family, heal past trauma, and now I am putting together a new plan, a new vision. There's always the next goal regardless of age.

There's lots of reasons why you're talks are the best, and one of them is that you boil these ideas down to their essence. No wasted words, no wasted time. We appreciate you Sir 🙏

A school teacher who taught in the 1950’s through the 1970’s noticed every HS reunion attendance numbers dropped exponentially with the change of the decade from the 50’s to the 60’s until the 70’s where hardly any students showed up to the Reunion. She asked several students why they chose not to attend and they all said the same things. “Those things are for the successful people” She asked “so you don’t feel successful?” And they said they were okay off but not living up their full potential. From that point on this teacher paid for out of pocket a 3 subject notebook and pencil for every student in her home room class. She taught them how to write down achievable goals and how to check them time to time to see where they are on their progress. She swore she would not be the reason students did not learn how to live up to their potential. There is an old saying that goes along with this true story. A dull pencil is sharper than the sharpest mind. My son and all my nephews and nieces and some of my son’s friends were all taught by me and given notebooks and pens just like this teacher . I am on my 5th 5 subject notebook and my son is on his 3rd. The others I talk to when I see them and I remind them to start over because I know they lost it or lost interest in this system. Because their Smartphone distracts them. My son doesn’t have that luxury because I’m on him constantly. Matter of fact it’s time to text him right now. Because T/Cav just reminded me during my morning coffee after doing a full ab workout yesterday at 9-11 Pm then a full lat workout at 3am-530am and sitting and typing my book from 530-8am. It was time for a nap and some more Navy Seal David Goggins no bullshit motivational input. Time to go poke the Cub.

You gotta listen to guys that have actually been to hell and back. The difficult thing is getting out of the bubble and finding the vision. TALK to people Taylor God bless

Thank you Taylor. I appreciate you sharing what you've learned from your experiences. I've also learned from my own once I decluttered and stripped away unnecessary distractions. Once I started stripping down, I noticed how loud my mind was, overthinking, ruminating, mental spam. Then the process became the goal, and the goal itself was just the carrot. I do things by the numbers, one: wake up, sit still and calm my mind, two: drink a glass of water, three: do light exercises, push-ups, etc. It's not easy to change your state of mind by doing nothing. My state of mind is at the core of everything, so that's what I pay attention to. Of course, I'm far from perfect at it, but practicing it is doing it. Your videos are like ammo, and no one likes running low on ammo.💣💥

Another good one. Going the ruminate and chew on this one for a while. Aside from specific things I need to learn how to do, like exercise techniques or tool usage, this channel is the only internet content I have consumed in the past couple months. Not a single piece of news, current events, political topics -- anything -- since early Feb. This has freed up about 2 hours of time wasted scrolling on nonsense that I have re-allocated to physical movement. It was inspired by a video Taylor did on attention to "causes" as a type of avoidance, which resonated strongly enough to cut through the fog of self-deception. Now AVOIDANCE in big capital letters pops into my consciousness on any of that attention bleeding stuff -- gotta clear those cat piss stained stacks of old newspapers and whatnot out of the old mental living room to create the mental clarity necessary to execute.

You are the master of your destiny, I was taught that by my father, a very wise man, have always tried to follow that, yet the point you made of "your destiny whispers at you, it doesn't shout, that is absolutely on point. Thanks again for the clarity, excellent talk once again. Always Faithful.

I am 58 and have been getting up at 3:30 am for the last five years. Have been an avid bodybuilder all my life. It is so interesting to see a guy like you , younger than me, but using the early hours to generate strength , purpose and prepare for what lies ahead in the day. Have found that I just have an edge doing this. Truly helps you face things whether they are things you want to face or things you dread. So many of your thoughts and teachings are so right on with what I’ve done for so long. My man my story is nowhere as colorful and as adventurous as you have.
